How much do you usually spend on Christmas?

i hate to admit this, but me alone i spend about $2000.- my husband does his own shopping and he does the groceries for it too. i'm going to try and not be so careless with money this year.

WHOA! That really is a lot! What all in the world do you buy that costs $2000?! You must have a really big family or just go all-out on decorations, huh? So far, I've spent $75.00, and that includes several gifts and decorations. I do intend to spend more before it gets here, though.

It depends on how much money I make that year. One year I spent $6,000 on Christmas - that included buying a new tree and decorations and having a whole bunch of people over for a party. This year I'll probably spend about $200 - food and all. Ouch - it's been a baaaad year.

i guess everything added it it has to be close to 600-700 dollars ..and i just dug my christmas tree out and cant find none of my decorations!..i looked all over the house and cant find them anywhere..so looks like i will be making a few decoration purchases this yr also...
