Some months I am forced to be late. Do you always pay your bills on time? Do you find you self late often. I have been managing paying my bills on time with the help of all these neat internet earning programs I do. Without them I am sure I would be very late.

Yes, I feel it is very important to pay all my bills on time. I didn't always do this, but I created so many problems with them piling up on me. So now, the credit card bill, is paid as soon as I get it. Most other bills are paid on direct debit from my bank account. - Derek

Yes, I fully agree! A friend of mine says he waits because his money will collect more interest. But it is only small amount and he is forever saying how tough things are! I tend to adjust quickly if business doesn't do so well, and can accept that I have to tighten my belt and not put things on my card that I know I will have a problem paying for later on. - Derek

We are on the same situation moneymommy. I try to manage to pay my bills on time especially water and electric bill. I dont want to pay disconnection charges if ever i didnt paid them on due dates. I know that it will cost me more expenses if that happens. So upon receiving salary, i already pay them immediately, though in some cases that i dont have money yet thats the time it will give me big problem. I want to have additional earnings thats why i am here in mylot. I know this site helps a lot.

Always. I keep myself on a budget and before I spend my money on anything else I pay my bills. Once a credit card bill was one day late and it cost me $39.00 late chages so not I pay everything at least two days earlier than the due date.

Yes, I will pay my bills on time or in advance. I don't want to delay it as it will charge me extra fee. I love China

I don't always pay on time. There have been times when something has come up that I have to spend the money on instead and there have been times when I just don't have the money at all.

Unfortunately the past year or so has made it difficult for us to pay our bills on time. I have been making progress in that area since the beginning of 2009 and believe that next month will be the first of many that I will be able to pay everything on time. This really excites me. My husband and I have managed to pay off over $11,000 in debt since the beginning of 2009, which really helps us because he took a pay cut at the beginning of the year and we have a son that will be going to college in August.

Yes and no. Every month the first things to be paid are our rent, electric and phone/internet. Those are our primary bills every month. We do have some credit card that are in default and we work on them as we can but with the economy the way it is, it's not easy to find the money for them. What gets me is ppl that don't bother to pay their monthly bills but blow all the money on junk and then run around trying to borrow from everybody else. I usually do. The only time I don't is if I forget about a bill or if I have to make a choice ya know.... if I don't pay credit card ontime they'll bring me up to 30% interest rate, but I have a two week grace on my mortage before they asess a fee. The rate the economy is going I'm sure companies hear it all the time and are just thankful to get paid period! I'm waiting for them to announce on TV that the power company is cutting folks off as there's a moritorium where between Nov-April they cannot cut off your heat. I imagine there's going to be alot more homes to cut off than in years past.

I have always been known to pay my bills on time. My husband used to say that I paid the bills too soon. Now that I have been unemployed, I have found that some bills are behind and late. I really hate this, because this is not the way I am. Some, months it has been do I buy food, or do I pay this or that bill. It is really hard to stay on track when the money is not there. Hopefully, things will get better soon.

I am almost always on time or just barely late. Like a day or two at most. I have stopped paying some unimportant bills before to be able to pay the important ones though. Like credit card bills.

Hi moneymommy...Most of the time I do pay my bills on time. Its hard to beleive that some people say they have never been late with a bill, not once. Most of us have at some time or another. Sometimes it was just that I never thought of a certain bill. I try to keep them all to a minimum so I dont have to worry. I have been in the position many years ago where I didnt have enough money to pay them all. Once many years ago, we had bought a house and didnt really understand much about interest. The payments doubled, and we ended up behind. I was so upset. That was in a different life though...lol.

I haven't been a good bill payer, but since I've been out of work, I am real proud that I can pay my phone and bed bills on time. I may be off a couple of days, but my heart is in the right place. I can say that. Because of what I am going through, I have to say that I have a new way of looking at bill paying and plan to pay them on time from now on. I had to put my credit card down seriously. I cannot pay it but I want to make up for it this coming month somehow.

I make sure that I pay bills on time. I see it as a waste of money to pay for those add-ons if you pay beyond the due date and the late charges fee. ALthough I understand that for some, paying after the due date is unavoidable.

Yes we are fortunate to have enough funds available, so we always pay our bills on time. We have worked hard to work our credit up and don't want to mess it up. My husband and I both work, but never rely on my income, my income is always extra, and don't live beyond our means.

I try very hard. But it is not always possible to manage this. It is very important though, and there is no such thing as paying a bill to early or too much so long as you can afford it. As a matter of fact, I think it is good to pay more then the bill is worth, you can build up credit that way and occasionally get away with skipping a payment, with out penalty. Not that I would recommend that, but if times are tough it might be good to be able to do.
