Has it always been like this or has Pink got really really angry recently?
Most of the lyrics to her songs sounds like she wants to rip someone's head off!

Well if you lost your husband you'd be angry too... keep in mind that she just went through a nasty divorce when she made those songs in her new album!

True, but I dont think its right to go flaunting her private life in her songs lol and from what I've read they're really good mates but just didnt work out as lovers :)

You know some of the best musicians, artists and writers have always been given the advice to write what they know... I'm an artist/painter and i do that too. You feel the music more when there is some of your heart put into it. She actually helped me alot with her music from the funhouse album... I was in a very abusive relationship for 4 years and her songs gave me the strength to walk away... especially "Who Knew".. Understanding goes a long way. When artists express themselves in their art they sometimes affect people more than they can imagine

Actually I found that years before she had great success with her album Mizundastood which if you listen to the whole album is pretty angry and sad. Then she fell in love and wanted to write happier stuff which did not get much notice. Then she split from husband and wrote angry again and got success again. Now that they have patched things up if she writes from the heart she will likely not have a hit. LOL I seen this with Alanis Morresette. She wrote an album that was so angry which everyone loved, then she wasn't angry anymore and the next albums bombed.
I think that when you hear a singer has felt the same junk that you did gives you comfort. Misery loves company.

Yeah your right some of her music off her new Funhouse album are quite fierce. Keep in mind she had lost her husband a few years back but they now seem to patching their relationship up.
The Album is a great album though , i think her best yet because although there are some songs that revolve around the break up there is a more vulnerable side to her this time round in songs like crystal ball and i don't believe you.
This is my favourite album ever , I absolutely love Pink -wnt to see her on April 12th in Glasgow, Scotland - Shes Awesome!

I have also noticed a change in Pinks songs in her new album but I think the divorse is probably te cause. Also in her songs you can kind of relate the songs to the Divrse aswellso I guess the extra emotions have been mixed into the songs. But I actually like that about Pink that she writes songs that relate to people and their problems.

The best thing about Pink is her lyrics are honest, therefore they can be angry, but she wouldn't be true to herself by hiding her emotions.
Many singers are not as honest, personally that can show in their performances.
In 2 months i will be seeing Pink live here in Australia for the first time, i am really looking forward to her performing Sober and Bad Influence in particular.
Kelly Clarkson and Missy Higgins also tend to write very honest, and often confronting lyrics.
Pink is a very passionate and caring young woman, the fact that she is a 'non conformist' can be seen as angry and even opinionated.
