I like to attend marriage ceremonies. However, it just makes me daydream everytime. I wish that it's me who's walking on the aisle.

Marriage or Wedding is a day where I can meet all of my relatives, friends, cousins etc in one place.Otherwise, there is no way I can see all this people gathered in one place for one motive. This is what I love about attending marriage functions. But, like you said,if it is kind of wedding where I hardly know anyone, then I get bored too.

Hi there vaibhavbansal. I also like attending marriages. I don't know but i get excited everytime i hear that one of my relatives or friends are getting married. Even if the place will be far from ours, as long as there is a free transportation provided by the couple, I will go. But i usually get bored during the wedding rites even with my friends beside me. Most of the weddings that i went to told us that we should not be noisy and refrain from talking with each other so there's no choice but to be silent and watch. I just love to see the first and last part of the wedding and of course the program after the wedding. Reception is also one of my favorite. LOL

I don't really like going to weddings, actually, unless they are of close friends or relatives, where I feel obligated to go. I like the wedding receptions, but not really the ceremonies - which can be boring & last for hours.

I do like to attend weddings but with relatives & close friends only. Its a shame to attend such solemn ceremony even not knowing the couple to be wed.

same here. i like to witness their love and joy of their communion. and perhaps because i'm still young and not really in the marriageable age as yet, i don't have people pressing me left and right. but i do know of some older friends who hate going to weddings of relatives because they would always try to match make her.

I attended the wedding of two friends of mine last August, and I absolutely loved it. It was really beautiful wedding, and an absolutely wonderful day for it too. I was so happy that my boss allowed me some time off to be able to attend it. I was so happy that I was able to be there.

I really enjoy going to weddings. Whenever I attend a wedding for a family member it's always special. It almost seems like a family reunion because there are people there that I probably have not seen for many years. Weddings for a family member are always fun and enjoyable. There have been some weddings that I've been to that were for a friend. Sometimes at those types of weddings it can be a bit awkward because for the most part I only know the bride or groom. Then I sit there wondering who the other people are and what can I talk to them about. One thing I know is no matter whose wedding I have attended I always get teary eyed during the wedding ceremony. There's just something about weddings that really touch my heart.

I enjoy going to weddings, mostly of family members. When I go to a wedding where I don't really know anyone I don't think it is as fun. But wedding of closer families are so fun because if gives you a chance to visit with your family and also people you may not have seen in a long time! Plus, it's such a romantic time and it's nice to celebrate with the lucky couple

I enjoy going to marriage receptions but I find the actual marriage boring unless I really know the people. Receptions are always a blast though. :D

I suppose I enjoy going to marriage ceremonies, but so many of them are extremely over the top. When it gets ridiculous - the expensive flowers matching the napkin rings matching the stationery matching the confetti - I start to become cynical about the whole thing. I think it's ridiculous how much weddings cost to begin with, and so many brides spend an absurd amount (and lose a lot of sanity in the process) to make it *absolutely perfect*. It's sad, almost, because most people aren't going to notice all of the small details that the bride obsessed about in the months prior! When I get married, I hope to make it more of a party-like setting, and not so much about "celebrating our love" for 5 hours, haha. A marriage should be a great excuse to throw a party!!

When i was a kid i liked a lot to go to marriages. There were many other children , some of them i even don't know. We used to talk and used to play. Whenever there was a marriage i used to go and had lot of fun. But now what no free time. Leave about marriages spending some decent time with family is difficult. Ah! childhood what days they were.
