What dish do you like to cook most often?

I am learning how to cook different dishes and I am yet to find a dish that I would like to cook often. I know that even chefs have their favorites- the one that they could cook without consulting a recipe. They know how to do it from the bottom of their hearts. Is there a dish that you cook often? Why?

That's good. We need to cook food that don't spoil easily. With the economy, we can't afford to be wasteful.

The dish that I would like to cook most often is my husband's favorite. Olive oil and garlic pasta! I just love the smell of garlic while it cooks. He loves it so much and I love preparing it because it is to quick and easy to prepare especially when we use angel hair pasta. Sometimes we add mushrooms to it, too.

Love pasta! Though I am not that much of a fan of mushrooms.

I guess I make spaghetti most often becasue my family likes it and it is easy to make and it is something that dosen't take very long to make. I usually have garlic bread with it and open the kids some green beans so they get a veggie with it. I do make bbq pork ribs once a week too.

I really love cooking oven roast chicken. Makes my mouth water now thinking of it. I am not a really good cook myself. I try to learn to cook Irish foods as I am a Filipina. But what really frustrates me is to try to grill beef steak the right way. If anybody here can recommend a tip would be very much appreciated. Thanks for starting this discussion. I share your curiosity in this skill.

I wouldn't say no to roast chicken as well. As for grilled beef steak, I am as ignorant on that as the next person. So you're asking the wrong person. LOL. Maybe someone who knows how would read our discussion and share. But til then, there nothing that we can do. :)

I like to cook a large pan of bolannaise sauce which can then be divided between lasagne, mousakka, shepherds pie and spaghetti sauce; in that way there are 4 different meals from one basic recipe. For the lasagne add herbs to the sauce, for the mousakka cinnamon, carrots for the shepherds pie.

i usually like to have different dishes and the same common one i know i have to repeat it as there is no option but i really like to know more of recipes and i would try that out again and again and add that in my recipe list and also my favourite dish list. i usually like to have non veg dishes more but at the same time it is also important to have a vegetarian dishes so i would prepare both with a gap of few days in between.

Without a doubt..I would say its spaghetti!..Both my hubby and I love spaghetti and I just love to fill the sauce with veggies and top off the spaghetti with tons of cheese!..yummy!! I prefer to cook the sauce in the morning and let it simmer for hours..It really blends the flavours and makes a difference. I also love to put on top shredded cheese as well as parmessan.
