Mylot Tasks...How about sharing folks?

Ok, I've seen many discussions started by people who have yet to find an available task here so I think some working together might be a good idea. From what I've noticed so far...and forgive me if I'm wrong...Mylot doesn't post tasks on the weekends. They normally appear in the late afternoon (Eastern time) and there are usually several slots available for each one. So, what's the problem? I suspect that some of the lucky ones who happen to click on the tab when it's loaded take full advantage of that and accept as many tasks as they're allowed to. We all need to keep in mind, though, that there are over 190,000 fellow mylotters here and many of them are not able to be here in the late afternoon...eastern time. Yes, some of these tasks pay pretty well and aren't difficult to do but my suggestion is that we limit ourselves to accepting just one so that others can have a chance, too. New tasks are made available often so it's not going to make THAT much difference to your earnings if you share. I'm willing to do that. Is anyone else with me?

Hey spalladino! That's just it! Most people are not willing to share and don't care about anyone else! They are just plain glutons and are only thinking about themselves and what they can get! They couldn't care less if anyone else gets to the tasks as long as they do! So it is pointless to ask the people here to share because they aren't going to listen! They don't think about anyone else other than themselves! Unfortunately they are not like you and I are!

Hi Opal! Maybe once the newness wears off more folks will be like mysdianait and decide that they prefer the discussions. I'm still hopeful that at least some mylotters will choose to share.

I'm sure there are more than enough tasks for those who wish to do them if you consider that: - the population of myLot is 166,245 but that includes inactive accounts - a huge amount of users are NOT interested in doing the tasks at all because they prefer the discussions (like me) - a huge amount of users are unable to accpet them because they donot have the knowledge necessary to complete them. How on earth would you ever manage to make those that are interested in doing them agree to accepting only one? Oh well, good luck!

It's just an idea...and a request. I've seen so many discussions asking where the tasks are, why there are none available, etc. so it seems to me that there are at least some folks who are interested in taking a stab at it but don't have the opportunity to. We really have no way of know what percentage of members would be interested in doing the tasks but even 1% is 1,600 people and they don't make that many tasks available.

I would be fine with that. I must admit that I haven't gotten to really look at it yet. I had some really busy days and so I will have to check this all out. I am really happy to see things added that will help the people. I hope they will be able to continue adding.

Mylot has put out a variety of tasks...some pay better than others...but it's a nice change of pace.

I've been on here lately when there hasn't been any tasks. I'll admit when they first came in those first few days I did four, but I did share, lol. I'm in the eastern time zone though so thanks for the tip on when they're available. There have been so many discussions on tasks from what I've seen, although I haven't been online as much, so I hope that this discussion can limit the discussions on tasks so as to let everyone know when to look for tasks. SHARE EVERYONE.

Personally, I think that mylot should alternate the times they make the tasks available, especially since we're an international community. Maybe if they put some out there when it's the middle of the night their time, some folks who normally miss all of them will have a chance. Thanks for the support!

Sorry friend, you have as much a chance as me to do tasks. When a task comes up there are usually at least several slots, 4, 8 or 10, and some have slots of 100 or more. You can only select one slot per task, so that leaves several or many tasks left over for everyone else. Half the difficulty it is true is getting to see the task and accepting it, but there have been probably 180 or more tasks each with several or a hundred or more spots, and all I hear are people whining there are no tasks or they are too hard to do. The tasks are sometimes hard work for little pay.

Sorry, but to be frank I am going to take every task that I am capable of doing and is available to me. If I don't someone else will. I think there is a limit on not being allowed to have more than 10 tasks at a time. I need the extra cash because I have a baby on the way. If people aren't able to be on in the afternoon its probably because they are working, so they are going to make more at work anyway. I am unemployed so I don't feel bad about it.

You go girl! Yes, you are limited to one slot per task anyway and there are at least several slots per task, so everyone has a chance at getting a slot, so we are already sharing. They do go fairly fast so you pretty much have to be sitting at your computer at the time they come up. I did not know about the 10 limit.

Am guilty of that. When tasks had been available, I took advantage of it. I was able to submit 10 tasks and has been approved. I have received my reward too. Are those tasks have a limit respondents? Everyone yearns to earn a big bucks here, that is why many took advantage of that chance. While some may have not accepted tasks or forfeited. I have no idea at all why others are not able to submit one. While browsing some discussions and responses about "tasks", I have noticed that there are members here who are unable to see how and what "tasks" available then. I guess, to those who took the chance completing those tasks aren't the ones to be blamed of if nothing available tasks left for others. I do not want to sound selfish here, well come to think of it, everyone were excited what this "stimulus package" is all about. If I was lucky enough being able to submit and received reward is not my fault. Why? I made an effort and compete with the time allotted to a certain task. After submitting those tasks available for me - I have no control if everything submitted will be approved. Hence, some available tasks became unavailable after some time. Therefore, it is not really me to be blamed of if someone has not submitted even a single task. Now, it has been 2 weeks passed and no tasks are available. If others have available tasks, then take advantage of that. I think, this is the chance because in case a task will be available again for me and think I can make it, I will grab it.

I agree. I haven't seen one available task yet. I wasn't aware that people could pick more than one. If there's not enough to go round, then people definitely shouldn't be taking all the tasks themselves. I'm usually on the internet in the AM Australian time and I've never seen one available. It is a bit annoying.

Echoing most: Where did all the tasks go?!

I've only done one so far, one that wouldn't take more than a few minutes. I'm very pressed for time, usually, so I won't be doing a lot of the tasks. There was one that looked very easy, resizing logos to an exact pixel size, but I didn't know how to do that and didn't have time to find out! Taking just one seems like a good thing to do. A lot of us came here originally because we needed money and I don't think that's changed much!

Let's see, a task is available to those who are online at the time tasks get posted and there are some handsome money are to be taken when we can finish those. I didn't find any task once the first wave was over. I used to think that mylot doesn't have any task these days that is why we can't see them here. This is a good idea that people accept only one task so that we all can have a go at them but do you think people would follow. Once I will come to know which time the task is available then I would go and grab that opportunity. I would never think about others, money matter and nothing else. I doubt if anyone will be following your rule!

Well Thanks for the info! I had asked about tasks and got no response, so it is nice to know maybe when to look for them. I get on here looking for something to do and maybe get a little money too.lol I however have never seen anything about tasks other than there are none avail. So I was quite perplexed reading about this or that person completing them when I have yet to even see one avail. I am looking forward to checking them out and even put my two cents in, so I will keep a sharp lookout late afternoons. Thanks!!!
