Do You Cash Your Check Right Away?

oh, i'm rather impatient. so once i get the cheque, i'd bank it in immediately and check my account almost everyday to see when my money comes in. hee.

i usually cash it,but it depends. sometimes the bank wants to hold if "if i don't have enough to cash it". which i find funny in the case of a government refund check. if they think that's gonna bounce,that says a lot

Most of mine are through paypal, when I do get a check I'll just deposit it.

It depends. If it's a new place yes of course. If it's one I know is trustworthy I may hang on to it a little while until I make a trip to the bank.

my opinion is do not wait , just cash in into you bank account for sometimes some cheques has only few days to expire.

If I have a check that is for less than $5 I would hold on to it until I had some cash or something else to deposit into my bank account (even if that something is rolled up change). I rarely get paid by check through my online stuff though, it usually comes through PayPal.

If I have some money when I get it then I will wait until the next time I need to go out for something to cash it. If I am expecting another one soon I might hold onto it. If I am really broke when it comes though I will go right out and cash it.

I used to but the way things are going, I cash them as soon as possible, just in case the company goes under or something. These days, the most reliable place is suffering through the economic crisis and I don't trust any of them! Good luck and my your collection of checks grow quickly.

i have never gotten a check from online sites. mylot is the only one i go to & i have never drawn anything out of my account.

The only check I get for online sites is for a survey site I do. Since it takes me quite awhile to get enough to cash in for a check, I always cash it right away when I get it. Everything else I do, goes into my Paypal.

For my earnings i either have then in amazon gift certificates, or put into my pay pal account. Either way i save them up until i have enough to get something that we need, or something that i would like to have. If we need the cash for household bills then i have it moved from my paypal into our bank account to be used that way. I have never received a check in the mail, but if i did i would probably just deposit it into our checking account and use it that way.
