I have rode horses many times. My Aunt and Uncle use to own a couple of horses. I love horsebacking riding. Its just a great feeling especially if you are galloping. I have also experienced riding a horse in water (lake) that was fun. I felt like I was in a western movie. LOL LOL LOL - I haven't ridden in a long time now. I surely miss it. Have a great weekend!

I LOVE horses, and I had gone horseback riding as a child, like 6 or 7, but I dont remember it now....I want to though. I would love to go horseback riding!!!! I have been looking online for horseback riding here in my state and there really isnt much to choose from and that is so disappointing to me. However I was talking to my husband today regarding doing a family vacation and I think I am going to check out some other states and look into if they have it so that it can be something we can do as a family.

Oh yes, I've been riding horses since I was 7 years old. I am now 57. I acually rode my first horse when I was 3. However, I didn't actually learn how to ride until my parents and I moved out here to the farm. My daddy bought the farm in 1949, three years before I was born. We built a house and moved out here in 1959. I can't remember what it felt like the first time I got on a horse, me being 3 years old at the time. I'm sure I enjoyed it, though, becuase I still enjoy it!

I have rode horses alot in my youth because my aunt and uncles owned a couple. However, I remember once riding in New Jersey at a Padarosa type place on my high school senior trip. Riding the horse thru the water, with the water reaching my knees. I felt like I was in a western movie it was a great experience that I will never forget. Love it!

I love horses. My husband's sister has a farm with cows and chickens and horses and I love riding. Our daughter thinks they are big dogs and barks at them. She loves to ride with us. I've ridden horses for a while now. My neighbor when I was younger had a farm and he'd let us come over and ride in exchange for chores around his house. My husband's sister competes on her horses. I think she does poles, but I'm not sure. She's a fantastic rider and has 7 horses of her own.

I went to horseback riding camp a long time ago. Since then I've preferred to admire horses from a distance. It wasn't that it was a bad experience... but that it was both terrifying and thrilling at the same time. And one of the girls got trampled on accident. Maybe I'll try my hand at riding a horse again sometime.

Yes, I have ridden a horse before. The first horse that I rode was a shetland pony that my parents bought at an animal (farm) auction for $25. It wasn't really tame, but it would let us approach him. The neighbors from across the street helped me to ride the horse for a little distance. I remember being scared. And other times we had some cousins that had horses. We loved riding those, it was fun. I have gone once in my adultlife, which was many years ago. I love horses and someday wouldn't mind having one or two on a farm.
