Im afraid of going to travel places alone. because i will might be lost or got to be danger because of unknown place to you. you will meet strangers not knowing their attitudes or behavior. i tried many times traveled so many places but with a group. travel alone is exciting and adventurous but still its very dangerous. how about you? do you felt the same? or do you have bad experienced on it.

I already traveled a lot of times alone. Well, the first time would be hard and feeling uneasy cause you're on your own. But as you're getting to it, it would be so nice. But the best would have someone who can talk to, share with, laugh with during your travel moments.
I experienced so many bad moments in my traveling alone and so good one...Why? are you planning to travel alone again?

I actually like traveling alone... That's not to say I don't like traveling with others... I think they both have their advantages... I like my privacies & I do tend to like being left alone... If my girl friend goes away for few days & if I have some free time, I just pick up & go somewhere... I'd call her & make sure she's ok & my daughter is ok, of course...

I have travelled alone in the past, but I prefer to travel with my family, my fiance or a friend. I am not afraid to travel alone, but I like to have company and I like to be able to share the experiences with someone. I haven't had any really bad experiences when I have travelled on my own, but I did get some unwanted atttention and I met a couple of men who were a very interested in my company. There was one man that I couldn't get rid of, even though I clearly told him that I wasn't interested, and when I left I was afraid that he would follow me, but nothing happened. I am not afraid to walk around during the day, but I would never go out alone at night, so I just stayed at the hotel in the evenings.

I have the same opinion with you. When I travled,I always asked my good friend to come with me,not just because I'm a girl, but I think when I go to a unknown place,to be alone is dangerouse. But sometimes I have to go out for a trip alone.
My good friends are not live with me now,we are in different places. And if I want to go to somewhere,I'd rather alone.

After I have watched the movie Taken, I think i will think twice before travelling alone.......yes, you are right..It is not safe to travel alone, unless you have someone waiting for you in the airport or someone will pick you up. But unless if none, you should not travel alone. it's for our own safety.

I am an ex military wife, and am very adventurous. I have no problem traveling alone because I feel that is the best way to learn and really delve into other cultures. I remember when my ex husband and I were stationed in Germany, and we drove to Metz, France, which is close to the German border. We were traveling with my father in law and his wife. Well my husband and I got into an argument on the ride to France, so when we arrived, I parted ways with them and and walked all over the city alone. It was sooo much fun. I acted as if I was french, and pronounced what little french I knew as well as they did, and they couldn't tell if I was french or not. I speak 3 languages, and it is very easy for me to pick up accents and other languages. So, I would say to go for it, I think you will enjoy, don't be shy to approach people.

When I was 18 years old I traveled by train all around Europe alone and I stayed completely safe. I stayed in youth hostels and met people from all over the world. I made some lovely friends from different countries. I have been to lots more destinations alone and have had a really enjoyable time on my trips. I have been to cities including Los Angeles and Jerusalem on my own and I haven't had any problems. I fell down an open drain and hurt my leg in Malaysia and strangers were very helpful to me. I couldn't have asked for more care and attention. I have learned not to wander alone along deserted beaches because doing that I got attacked and that was very scary.

there was a time where I have to travel alone. I mean, ride on the ship alone, for a day. But when I got to the terminal my friend fetched me.
When i first got into the ship, it was around 11pm and it scared me because it was my first time to go in a boatride alone for 1 whole night. I've got no one to talk to, eat with and all. While waiting for boarding, I noticed someone who's alone also. I approached her and we did some talking. And we became friends. So, Not only did i experience traveling alone, but also I met a new friend.
But, It was indeed scary. :)
