Have you tried eating sisig? I love eating sisig. I eat them when there is a party or any event with softdrinks (since I don't drink alcohol). Pork sisig and tuna sisig is my favorite. I also like chicken sisig. I love it when it is serve hot in the sizzling plate, spicy pork sisig really rocks! You can eat it with rice if you like. Hehehe. It is one filipino dish that everyone should eat during events or parties or whatever occasion. Oh and my favorite event is the sisig festival in Pampangga. Sisig is for free! Hehehe. And now I am getting hungry already. How about you? Have you tried eating a sizzling plate of sisig? When do you eat them? Who do you eat with? Share your stories!

I love sisig when it was cooked at home. As for my experience in Giligans, Dencios, or Gerry's Grill, I felt dizzy after eating sisig. But in Chicken Bacolod, their bangus sisig is superb.

Hi taki, I've never eaten sisig nor do I know what kind of dish it is. But from your description, it sure sounds hot and yummy! I guess it's close to the korean style where slices of meat are marinated and cooked on the hotplate. In that case I'd eat it with black pepper, rice and a bowl of hot vegetable soup. I'd prefer chicken and beef hotplate.

I love eating sisig but mostly I eat sisig that are instant, meaning in cans sisig. I know the real sisig is better than them but they take time to prepare. Besides I and my husband are the only ones at home so we only eat a little. I love sisig but I do not want it spicy. I just want it delicious and just fine. I hate those meats that are hard to chew so I only eat real sisig rarely.

Well, sisig is made out of pork parts like the liver, skin and others. It is served in a sizzling plate. Usually sisig is served out of pork. But tuna can be also served it depends on the store.

yeah i do love sisig. i love the most tuna sisig. i definitely agree. i have not been in pampanga. i just buy tuna sisig in the mall in SM. The Davao tuna grill in food court. it is delicious. it cost less about $2. with rice already without drinks though. i think that it is just cheap enough. i rather eat there than eat in fast food restaurant where there are lots of fats.

Yes i do but not much. I think it's pretty high on cholesterol and it would be dangerous if i keep eating sisig on a regular basis. I personally love Reyes Barbecue's sisig. There's only one thing missing though, there's no egg. I haven't tried chicken or tuna sisig yet but i will soon whenever i have the chance. I don't drink too so sisig's my lunch not pulutan hehe.

Hey there taki. I absolutely adore sisig, and every Kapampangan delicacies. Nope I'm not Kapampangan, but I have a lots of friends from that province. Most of them are good cooks, specially true when samplers or "pulutan" needs to be cooked. Cheers!
