I am usually good with passwords. When i make a password, i say it over and over again for a while, and sometimes write it down. Only once have i lost a password, but it wasnt to anything important, only an instant messenger, so i didnt loose to much out of it.

Yes I am forgetful on some things and I have these problems as I use different usernames and passwords on some sites. Thats why in my primary email address, I have a folder of "Passwords" because sometimes I requests my password.
There was a time that I can't really remember the pin number and my atm card has been blocked so the bank has to replaced my atm card.

Hey maxi! I am always forgetting or getting my passwords
confused with each other! I have to write them down for each
account or I totally will not know one from another! I just
have too many different account with too many different ID's
and passwords to keep them all straight in my head! I have
almost been locked out of some important account so I have
finally learned to keep them all in a little book!

yes it happen to me many times that i forgot my password. its so frustrating if you forget your password because you need to re do it again. i think its better to have an easy password where you wont forget something that easy to remember.

Always. I have a lot of accounts and I want to thank you "forgot password and hint" for being there as always. It is really hard to find to protect your email and account especially if it is money matters. Thus, the only way I can do is make different password for different accounts. I have been a victim of this already and I don't want it to happen again.

You'd better start it from now on but keep it in secure place, and change it a little bit hard to spell

There are times that this has happened to me, and it can be annoying. I try to always use the same password of forms of that password on all of the sites I am with, but you never know from time to time when I do forget and then you have to wait until later to get into a site or something due to it as well.

I know you're suppose to memorize your password, but when there are so many things that require a password it's hard to keep up with them all. I have mine written down and the only ones I committed to memory are the ones I use almost daily, like email. I did forget one of my passwords once and couldn't find where I'd written it down. I just followed the instructions the site gave for retrieving it.

The problems we might find if we write down on a paper is lose it and it can be found by other people, so they will know our passwords .. i guess the safe way to keep it os on electronic gadget

yikes! I've also been really reliant on firefox to manage all my web passwords, to the point that I've forgotten some of them! When I try to log on from school, I am greeted with an empty password field, haha.

I recently forgot my online banking password. They had this extensive requirement for passwords, where it had to be over 12 letters, PLUS 2 numbers, PLUS a mix of capitals and lowercase letters. Crazy! This is for an account that I rarely use, and when I tried to log in a couple of weeks ago, I completely drew a blank. I couldn't remember it for the life of me! I had to reset the whole thing which required a ton of verification documents and the like.
On a funny note, I was sitting in my professor's office the other day and he had this Microsoft Word document open. He explained that he kept all his web passwords in the document, and was bragging how he's never forgotten a password in his life. I cringe at how NOT secure that method is!!!

Really crazy how can it be so hard! hehe, but considering as hard things to remember, it is very secure for your account, but you are right, it is not less secure to keep password on the computer, the only things secure in this world is only in our brain

i think every one has lost or has forgotten their passwords at one point in their life. if you own your own computer, you can download software to save your passwords. I have tried using one software before and it thus work. I also save important information including account names in my GMAIL Docs so i can access it anywhere if i need it. Dont ever write your passwords on a piece of paper, its not safe.

I did forget my bank password and a few other passwords. That is because I deleted my password manager and went to look for it, but it was no longer made by the author. I did have the passwords in a file on my computer, but could not access it. So I looked for a new password manager and then had to go back to the sites, etc. and ask them for the passwords. And some i had to practically jump through hoops so that I could get new ones.
Luckily Pc Magazine had a copy of that old password manager and then I got my passwords back. Banking machines are easy as the passwords are usually just four words.

You are very lucky i never use password manager to protect my passwords on computer, it's more easy to me to keep it on cellphones with passwords protection to make it secure since computer can be attack by virus or can be damage, and cannot always bring it to everywhere i go

I do not forget my password for my email accounts and ATMs because I keep using the same quite regularly and when you continue to make use of your password, they somehow automatically get stored in your brain. Else, I keep a digital diary with me to remind me of my pass-words for various opertions, in case my memory fails.

Hi friend! Yes, that happens to me, due to the many passwords I have to keep. There are times when my password for my BPI ATM card is being mistaken for my EON Card. Ha!ha!ha! Also my passwords in my online activities would jumble sometimes. So now I am just using one password so that I will not forget anymore, except for some sensitive account that I really have to protect with unique password to make sure it is really secured.

My banking one, and email one I never forget, but still have them written somewhere. My sister, husband and daughter all have my PWs, too, just in case. I use Roboform (downloaded it for free and upgraded it this year) for my computer ones and have copies of the list elsewhere, too, if I need to retrieve them and am not on my own computer.
I do not use words for passwords, I use randomly, generated ones from Roboform that are very secure. Most passwords that are stolen are words or a part of a person's life like a phone number, address, birth date, which is not good.

Yeah! I used to all the time! There just becoming too many places that require passwords that I cannot keep up...I started keeping them in a log. I thought about making them all the same but I am scared someone will find out one and I will be very screwed. I have way too many online accounts-it's out of control.
