To be an Actress do you need acting skills or showing your skin?

I am not sure about dubbing movies, I am sure some are done for legit reasons such as it's more cost worthy to have a voice dubbed over, or maybe the actress won't learn / speak the language for other reasons. Not sure though, so not saying your wrong at all. I think that actors and actresses would get more respect all around if they put their clothes back on, nobody needs to see it.

It is the money which is ruling this world nowadays! Yes. Actresses are turning out to skimpy clothes and very interested in skin show more than acting skills. In fact even producers and directors are more interested in such actresses using which they can produce good profits. After all, actresses have to fall down to the heat of money and competition. So we can't blame only actresses, but to whole industry which is going behind money, not the values or morale anymore.

According to me, to be an actress she should be great at one and only one thing, acting, the name suggests us so too right ? Else all gets worked out with practice, it does not take much time for enhancing vocals . Skin is just one time promoter, people won't watch the movie again

eventhough i am not a REALLY BIG proffessional dubbing artist, i have dubbed for a couple of indian movie (malayalam) . i kinda very well know what happens there. there are so many upcomin actresses who are hot and people just get attracted to them but their acting skills are also okay. once i heard a the recorded dubbing of an actress and as she didnt do it well i was called for that. and i heard the dubbing, it was bad. i didnt understand anything she said. i keep wondering , to be an actress it's more of how much you can expose and how good you look and how good you act but i feel that an actress should be able to do everything that is needed to complete the movie

I have absolutely no idea how it might be for foreign actresses. However, my general belief is that all actresses have to have the looks and usually the talent too. It's possible that the subbing for a movie might be off, but other than that, I think that to be an actress, you need to know how to act. And unfortunately, you need to be willing to show some skin too.
