PCs are apt at inviting problems into their health. And any problems are menifested in slowing down of its functioning. Right?
My PC is also no exception. Here I am helpless. I have to call the software installer to fix it. This is troublesome in two counts-money and availability of the software instller. I feel I could do it on my own. But I don't find any laymen friendly site from where I can learn the primary things so that I can do it on my own.
What do you do when you face such problems? Do you hire prfessional or do you do it of your own?

There is a little shop not far from my favourite cafe (it's two doors down, with a little variety store in between the two shops), where I take my computer when something goes wrong. It's a laptop, so I can carry it anywhere. my husband fixes what he can, but when it needs a new part (I just had a new keybooard installed), I take it to their store.

I would love to have a shop fix it but it's not in our budget. I am lucky enough to have an uncle that knows computers. I don't always want to bother him though so I hope that we can work a shop in our budget the next time we have a coomputer problem.

No Not at all,I always try to fix the problem myself however big it is.Because I think tha tI know very well of my computer than any one else.Even some professionals are not very skilled, they lack knowledge of newly evolving problems in the computer. Some very intelligent professionals in India create some complicated problems in a good computer when we call them for small problems and try to make the much from us.So we must be careful with hiring professionals to fix minor problems in PC.At last my advice is to make a try and then call them if we could not do it.
