Is that it? I thought the ending of ER would be more.

It was not bad but I felt alot of questions were left unanswered. I am very sad to see this show go, it is one of the few I still watched on TV. I do not have cable nor Dish YV and no plans in the near future to get it. I do not see much on TVworth watching, I mean shows like "the Office" are really spohmoric at best. The law and order series is still decent, and I like Smallville, and Supernatural. I will miss this show a greatdeal How about you? And did you get enough out of the ending?

Hey Barbietre! I missed seeing the ending! I can't believe
that I actually forgot to watch it! So now I don't know what
happened! I get confused with the tv shows and when they are
on sometimes. I don't watch ER much anymore, but I did watch
it for the first few years all the time! But, I have stopped
watching most of my favorite shows because I spend more time
here at mylot! I hardly watch tv until later on in the evening
if at all! I am usually trying to make some money here and
stay on here until 12:00 when the end of the time is up for
the day! So unfortuately I can't comment on the ending! But,
whatever it was after a show has been on for that many years
I can't imagine people not being disappointed! Look at what
happened with the Sopranos!

My husband taped it, and I am sure they will hav a rerun sooner or later. There are some online places where yoy can see TV shows you missed. I do not remember which sites though. What makes it hard is the junk that is on TV these days, so when you find a good drama and it goes away, you miss it even more.

I used to watch it but my nighttime hours got in the way and I had stopped. It was a good show.
I got into another show at the same time since I hate going back in the middle of a show so I did not see the finale.
Maybe they are leaving the door open to bringing it back in the future?

Well it was one of thsoe shows that you did not need to watch every week. But since Carter opened a new center, maybe a show would come out of that.

I didn't see it so I do not know what the ending was like, I don't really watch ER anymore, I haven't for about a year now.

Well I think this last year it was better than it was for awhile. The stories were tighter. I may try the new show that is taking it's place. Nothing else in tht time slot interests me. There was a time when NBC had the best shows on Thursday with Friends and ER. But shows like My name is Earl, and all the others are realy dumbed down.

ER was one of my favorite shows. It was sad to see it go. I'm not much of a tv watcher so I guess I will be watching it even less now. The ending was very similar to the beginning and I heard that was intentional. They wanted the last show to be like the first. I'm really going to miss it but I do have cable and I can always catch the reruns if I decide to.

I found it to be both anticlimactic as well as up-lifting. It was good, but I wanted much more. It was interesting to see Rory Gilmore from the Gilmore Girls as an intern. It also was great to see Rachel Greene come back and want to work at the hospital where her dad worked. I wish Kem had stayed with John. I want happiness for everyone.
Did Banfield get the baby?
Will Claudia marry Archie?
Will Tony and Sam get back together?

Last week Archie said if I would ask you this few years own the road, will you marry me, what will you say, and she said she would say yes. The real mother of the baby Banfield came back and said she thought they would be better for the child than she would so they proposed an open adoption. After Tony and Sam's son got the car for Sam and they watched the older couple they grasped each others hand, so I see hope there, plus she called her Mom. Kem and John were the part I did not like, but maybe the new Carter medical center will make a Spin off and we will see.

I agree, it wasn't a bad ending, it just wasn't what I was expecting. It was sort of anticlimactic. And I am going to miss this show, but it had a good run. Plus, it was good to see most of the old stars returning for the final few episodes. I will now watch 11th hour in that timeslot, it's a pretty interesting show.

I think it's probably to be expected if you watch a show for as many years as ER has been on to have a rather let-down feeling when it ends. I thought it was every well done but I see what you mean about leaving some things up in the air. I think it may well be that a spin-off about Carter's new center may be under consideration at least. One of the main things left unanswered was the relationship between John and Kem. Also, while Tony and Sam did grasp hands, that is also left pretty open so I could certainly see the two of them appearing on the new show, if it comes to be. Maybe I'm just hoping but that would be a pretty good show, wouldn't it? It has potential, that's for sure.
What I really loved about the finale was how they used the original theme song and how it more or less ended the way it began, right down to the line, "Coming, Dr. Greene?" That was one of several times when I really had to reach for the tissues.
County General, I'll sure miss you!
