I would if
1. it was warm enough to do so
2. if 3/4's of our windows weren't nailed shut by the origional owner *sigh* we just plain need new windows but alas no $ to do so.

Even the basment ones were. I guess the origional owner (as told by my neighbor who had been here 40yrs+) had said a delinquent on the next block over got messed up (the nice way of putting it) one night and climbed thru her window and assaulted her. SO they nailed and bolted the windows shut! Unfortuantly window are so frig'n expensive unless we do it ourselves one window at a time, provided we even knew what we were doing it's not happening. *sigh* Unless I could get a real income & maybe out of doing Mylot *LOL*

Good for you moneymommy ! It really feels great when you feel the wonderful breeze especially in the mornings, welcoming a new day with a fresh feeling eases you from anything that preoccupies your mind, when I am at home, I let my windows open to smell the fresh air. I think it is healthy to open our homes once in a while as natural and fresh air coming through our doors and windows.

If it is a nice day, I like to have windows and doors open for fresh air. If it is a hot day, I like to close up the house in the morning and keep it dark as possible to keep the heat out.

I do leave my front door open for fresh air in the house. I also had my back door open and my windows. I loved the breeze that came through the house. It was very nice. Also with everything opened I could hear the birds singing and watched from my chair squirrels chasing each other. I think the warm weather is at least trying to show up.

It is definitely that time of year, I love the freshness, I love to keep my doors and windows open. This and Fall is the time of year I love, I even went outside and worked in my yard yesterday. I am paying for it now but it was a good experience. Now I am waiting on Good Friday when I will plant my annual tomato plant.

Hey there! That sound really refreshing. Feeling the breeze coming in to you house. Yes, I do. I always do. It's good to have some fresh air coming in to your house. It cools the inside of the house specially during those days when the temperature is high and very humid. Have a nice day. Happy posting!!

Hi moneymommy..I have had my windows open a lot lately. Even in winter, I like to put in some fresh air. In summer, I love to open front and back and let the air or cross breeze blow right through...I always hope it will blow some money in through the door but that never happens..
I love fresh air and think the house needs fresh air for me to breathe better. So winter or summer, in comes the good air and out goes the bad!!

I keep my front door open so the air will have easy access to the room. I do not have air-conditioning and it can get extremely hot in my neck of the woods. Cheers!!
