Here in England we have Easter holidays from school, 2 weeks. I am a teacher so I also get 2 wks holiday. Most places will only close for Good Friday and Easter weekend and Monday. We buy each other chocolate Eggs and cook big meals for the family on Easter Sunday. Our budget just hit an all time low so we won't be having the eggs or big meals but we will spend time together as a family and take long walks together and snuggle down in front of the TV in the evenings. I will also use my time of work to catch up on house chores that get neglegted during term time, if I can drag myself away from MyLot and the pc that is LOL

Me and my wife went to visit several churches in our city. We prayed solemnly and thanked the Lord for what He did for us. We always do this every year and it's been going on for more than 5 years now.

Well like what we used to do is to get home to my province. Well we were not planning to go home but we were given free bus tickets by our friend so we will take this opportunity to be home tonight. We were lucky I guess to get this ticket since we were not hoping that we would be getting home this week because of budgetary constraints.

Me an my family would be at Baguio, the summer capital of the Philippines, from Maundy Thursday up to Black Saturday. I'm a bit excited because it has been 6 years since the last time I went there.. And this time I'll be with my family and it makes it more exciting for me.. It will be my mother's first time there..

On Thursday, we would probably be having our annual Visita Iglesia. Friday, we'll attend the procession. Saturday, just at home. Sunday, attend mass. That simple. We don't really go out on vacation during Holy Week. Just spent it at home and attend to some religious activities.

I will just stay at home, surf the net, watch t.v. and eat. My family don't usually go out during "Holy Week". We prefer to stay at home unlike others that go to beaches like Boracay.

Hi there fellow Filipino. As for me and my family, we will just be staying here at home and we will go to church and hear mass. Holy Week is the time for us to unwind and reflect on our sins and what we want to change with ourselves for the better. That's what we are going to do this Holy Week.

I just really had a very hectic schedule last week. That my house seems like a boarding place and that I only get few hours of sleep, and yes, it was for 6 days straight! Anyway, Holy Week, I'm glad it'll be a holiday, a great time for me to rest. Totally loving the holidays. I don't have any plans yet of going anywhere.. I don't think I would go anywhere this weekend. Guess, I'd make most of the day to rest and make most of the time to cover from the tiring week I had last week. So pretty much rest days for me, and at the same hoping to have time with God, yea I must admit, I don't really get much interested with religious stuff lately, though I wanted to. *sigh Well, I'm hoping everyone enjoys their Holy Week and don't forget to thank God for all the blessing you receive..

No spare money to spend, I can only stay at home and try to enjoy the solemness of the week. During Holy Week, our neighbors are in vacation and our place becomes more quiet. I can now take a nap in the afternoon without the children's shouting or vehicles' noise on the road. Well, I don't think worthy discussions will be in vacation too so I will still be browsing the web this week. I will buy some DVDs too and watch movie marathons.

In china, we have Tomb-Sweeping Day, it's a traditional holiday. It's a short vavation. I am a college student, some of my friends went home, but my home is far away from school. so i have to stay. I think the best way to relax is sleeping, eating. I prefer to stay at dorm and do nothing.

During Holy Week, its about four years ago that we do "Visita Igleas". Meaning having to church hop for at least 9 churches just located in our place. All of my aunts, nieces and nephew would go along. Having to hire a jeep for the trip. Visit different churches with a noticeable setting the church will offer for all the people having to visit. Lastly, to visit the parish church of ours. then go home...lol

i was planning to go home but i was too late to apply for a leave before holy week. so i have no choice but to go to work. it's a good thing though because it's a double pay. i work in an outsourcing company so we have to work for a company or for people who doesn't celebrate Holy Week.

Nothing really. I might be staying at home or might be visiting relatives in another state. If I do stay home, I'm going to clean the house for Easter dinner. I'm really hoping I do get to go away for Easter though.

What I am doing right now for the Holy Week is I am saving money because on Good Friday, my ex boyfriend will be coming to our house together with his wife! Sounds cool? Yeah, I think it is just one way of saying how good I am in treating him during our time. And I am already pressured meeting his wife, because this is the first time that we will be meeting each other in person. And his wife is also eager to meet me in person in our house! How will I treat them?....
