Well, I think it depends on the online shop that you buy things from. I usually choose a reliable online shop to make the transactions. Of course, when you proceed the online payment, there may be some risk too, where your confidential information may be stolen. But, a good online store should have all the security in place. If I am not mistaken, the first thing I bought online was air ticket. I like to book the air ticket and accommodation online too, it's very convenient, and I think the airline online websites should be quite secured.

i think you have to be careful as in anything you do online. out of the 20 things that i have bought on ebay, there was only one seller that i had an issue with. my item got lost in the mail and although i complained several times, i never got anything back from them.

I think that it is pretty safe to shop online. There is a slight risk however and I would still be careful. Some tips to follow are to only use approved sites and sites that others have told you that are legitimate. I have not bought much stuff of the web but the things that I have bought have caught and were well worth it. Good luck!

I shop a lot online... I can't remember what the first thing I bought was, but it was probably from EBay. If you make sure you're dealing through a safe site, internet shopping can be a great experience. Look for the little padlock in the URL Address Bar, to make sure they're secure, or check near the bottom of their page. If you can't see this, don't give your card details, or address to them... shop elsewhere.
Brightest Blessings.

I think alot of sites are safe. The best way to go is through paypal if you can that way the seller doesn't get any of your information. Just watch out for those emails. Thats how they got me. Now I don't ever response to any emails that say they are from paypal or my bank. The paypal emails I send to paypal so they can catch the people stealing everyones money.

I do get a bit weary using sites for the first time but I have never had any problems with shopping online. With some online shops there does seem to be a lack of security when making payment. The first thing I bought online was something for my boyfriend for his birthday. I'm pretty sure it was a t-shirt. x

if you took enough precaution, there is nothing to worried about in shopping online..just do not expose your card number to stranger, shop online on reputable online store only or pay through paypal..my first online purchase is bunny ear hood that i bought from eBay..this is the best purchase i ever had because the delivery very fast and item received in good condition..

I think more and more people are shopping online with great confident. I have shopped on line once buying books. The books came in less then 2 weeks. If given the chance I will shop on line again. Shopping online is very convenient and you have wider choice.

Well, I did my share of shopping online. Most of them were software applications that are useful for my computer. Aside from that, I also paid for my website online from a hosting service. Up until now, I have such website and continue to pay yearly hosting service. Well, I am glad that I have not been scammed online as there are those who have been victims of online purchasing.

Hi,
There deem to be some risk when you shop online. However, online shopping is the trend now. I bought airline ticket. skin care products and e-books online before. I only shop on trusted sites or do some research on other online users opinion before I shop on that website.

I can say I am an online shopaholic.
I can't withstand a day without checking all my favourite shopping sites.
In order to be sure of the shop online you are having transactions with, check their payment proofs, their delivery proofs, the responses of the costumer (be sure its not them who made the account and commented on their own site), the price, if it is worth buying or not and the shipping fee (if via delivery) or the pick up points.
You can see a lot of things online which is cheaper than what is in the market. You can also try the high rated coupon selling sites. To save money.
