Madea Goes to Jail????

Was it just me or was this movie not really about Madea. Not really about her being in Jail? Not really funny like the previews let on?
How did this make so much money in the theatres?
It wasn't a bad movie really but not at all what I thought it was. Way more of a serious topic rather than a comedy.

Did you see the play 1st before the movie if you like perry's stuff(movie's,play's TV) then for me I understood what it was all about..
People sometime's say read yhe book LOL LOL for me I download it all on frostwire.com and watched it all for me..
This could be her last...

No I never even heard of any of it before this movie and maybe that is why I was confused with it. Thanks

I saw the movie and I wasn't impressed at all. It was a let down, to say the least. So much anticipation was put forth and it was a disappointment.
It was not what I expected. Not like the play at all. I get that Tyler Perry uses pieces of every play in different movies but it looses so uch when you add and take away key elements.
I think it made good money due to the name. People were excited and ran out on opening day in groups and such.

Thanks I never heard of it till the movie so maybe I could have had more appreciation if I had seen the plays.

Yes I saw the movie. I thought it was really funny. And of course I love Tyler he is a hoot and a very funny actor.

Yes I saw and loved Modea goes to jail. As a matter of fact I love everything Modea is in. I am a die hard Modea fan. I do agree that it wasn't as good as the other movies I saw with Modea in them. This ones was just to let Modea know that she can not get away with all the wrong things she has been doing. It was not meant to be serious.

Maybe cause I have never seen anything from Madea until this movie that I was surprised. thanks for the info.
