I have a son who is diagnosed with high functioning autism. He has some sensory issues and some visual motor and fine motor delays. He also has difficulty with motor planning. He is in a regular classroom with minimal supports and does well. He was in behavioral therapy (ABA) for 6 years but is now on an as needed basis. He still receives occupational therapy for his sensory and motor issues, but we think he is about to graduate out of speech therapy. All in all he is doing quite well. What therapies do you daughters participate in? How are they doing in school? Have you tried special diets and that sort of thing? It is always interesting to meet other parents and see what has worked for them and trade ideas. Thanks for posting.

Neither of my kids have been diagnosed with autism, but my cousins 2 year old has. I am not sure what his actual diagnosis is, but he is severe. They diagnosed him before age 2 which I know they do not normally do. That is how severe he is.
