guy or girl pays on dates

I feel that on the first date, unless the girl askes, the guy should pay. However, after the first date or so, I think it is okay for the girl to pay. One way to not have to ask your parents for money, is to find some kind of work to do...like mowing lawns, babysitting, walking dogs, ect. there are lots of things out there that high schoolers can do in order to make some money so that their parents dont have to pay. and it teaches you how to be responsable with your money as well. :)

Should take turns, split tabs and all that good stuff.

here in the Philippines men or the guy pays for the date. he he everything.. especially on first dates. then the girl/woman can offer... to pay even half of the total bill..

i feel it should bee 50/50, but when i go on dates the guy always offers to pay, i guess its just society

In my opinion guys need to pay because in our socity guy is more responsible. Also generally guy takes girl out for date so he pays

I go for splitting the bills.

well i am a stay at home wife, so he always pays. but when i was dating i never had to pay. i guess it is whatever both party is able to do, or is comfortable with.
