I am pagan and truly believe in karma. I was wondering if anyone out there lives their life like I do? Do you make it a point everyday to pay it forward regardless of what you may get back in return? Do you find it hard to do sometimes? Are you able to be generous to someone who may not have been generous to you in the past?

I don't believe in karma...but I sure hope it exists. Many times in my life, I've seen people, who have hurt others so badly. Yet, years after, they still enjoy the life they have, and the pesron they hurt, continues to suffer. Looking at these circumstances...makes me want to wish harder that karma does exist.

One of the things that I have learned about Karma, is that it works sometimes without even knowing it. It might seem like a person is still enjoying life just like they did before, but that is because you are looking at it from the outside. Inside, this person could be miserable and alone. Karma does exist and those who have yet to reap what they sow, will get it when they least expect it. What goes around comes around.

That is quiet a relief, knowing that maybe, just maybe, no matter how happy they look, their conscience is killing them. I also though that my understanding of karma is different. I sometimes mistake them as revenge or justice. Eitherway, that those betrayed, will know that one day, it's going to be them that'll smile...that one day, there is going to be an end to their suffering, and the person who caused this pain, will feel regret for the rest of their lives. I sound bitter? Yes, because I have been in the shoes, of someone wishing that karma exists.

I think we put out good, get good. Put out garbage, get garbage. My basic faith (also pagan) makes it so I strive to play nice with others... yes, it can be hard and sometimes I fail, but I try and I think that counts too. And you're right that Karma sometimes sneaks up behind someone so they never knows She's there. (I picture Karma like a big tough bigger chick)
