which laptop or minilaptop works best??

Minilaptop work best for business people where they always have to carry this along to any business trip. I would suggest laptop with wider screen from my personal experience. I have tried using minilaptop for my study but its really give headache to me since everything is so small and you have to strech your eye on it. The only advantage that I can see on minilaptop is that its more lighter and easy to carry around but not advisable for practical use. You said your work is quite heavy on design so laptop would be an ideal choice for you.

Laptop, mini laptop has quite limited specipication than laptop.

If you're into Graphics design. I rather choose the XPS line up of Dell. My cousin have an M1330 and its awesome. It performs well specially during gameplay.
