Are you happy in your life?

Well, I can be very up and down. Like to do as much as possible. Of course it is not possible to do everything - there is just not the time! Have done many things I set out to do in my life, but still there are things yet to be achieved. Once travelled around the world for just over a year visiting many countries; that was a fantastic experience. At the moment am in a 'good' job, though not always as interesting as I would like and a bit 'stuck' with relationships. Would like to move my career to being a 'dreamhealer', though this doesn't seem any closer than when I first came on myLot in the middle of last year. So, myself, I am at times happy and at others, a tad frustrated at not making more progress... What about you?

Well, I think that all five responses at time of writing are good. We seem to be born into this life with varying abilities and emotions. Maybe this "still something missing" feeling is life's way of getting us to strive to be all we can be. But I feel there is depth behind your response, which maybe difficult to express in English, so will give you "BR"!!!

Now that the warmer weather has come to my home country I feel really happy. Lately my toddler son has been delighting me with his physical movement like kneeling up and with his love of books he has really pleased me. I got a new patio door recently and that makes so much difference to my home and how comfortable it is. I went to South Africa earlier this year and I get much pleasure thinking about that. Next year I am planning to visit Canada so it is exciting for me to think about that. Traveling is my top hobby and when I was 20 years old I traveled around the world. Sometimes progress in life can be slow and as my mum says "it is always darkest just before the dawn" so good luck with happiness in your life.

Thank you for your and everyone else's response. It is always interesting to hear how other people view things. The differences in viewpoints can sometimes be quite surprising!

It takes very little to make me happy. I know many people who seem incapable of enjoying life. They see something wrong in everything and they complain a lot. I am happy, I guess but i am too busy enjoying things to notice. Cheers!!!

I aspire to heal also, but have learned that I have to remain open and not to rush, the knowledge that I need is there I just have to be ready for it. Keeping the goal in mind is all important and remembering that healing does not always mean physical healing. The energy is always there and I am nothing but a conduit through which it works.

I am generally a happy person and most people are when things are going well in their lives and they haven't encountered any problems. I am "happy" but I am not happy with my life as it is currently. Being unemployed does not help. I am seeking employment, but as it is the economy is not the greatest right now. I get frustrated just like everybody else, and can't wait until this recession is over and jobs are once again available. I think a change of scenery will do me a lot of good. I want to be excited about my life once again, and I am trying so hard to make that happen.

I have my ups and downs, just like anybody else does. It's normal, in my opinion. But personally, I don't have anything really to complain about. I'm really enjoying my life.
