do you make your bed in the morning ???

no not always. Hubby sleeps weird hours b/c of the way he works so I don't see the point of making the bed when he sleeps until 5pm and I go to bed about 10ish. Most of the time when I do make the bed is when I know someone is coming over. lol

when i was still living alone -- when i was still in college -- i don't. nobody will touch or lie on it anyway. but when i started working (out of town and earning my own money) i have to live with someone so i could budget my money and for that -- i had to fix my bed before leaving to work becuase i don't want them to sit on it, lie on it, maybe they'll use it as a wiper or whatever (i'll never know).. and besides, i don't want my bed to look untidy to others eyes..

it does not make avery disciplined mind to fix up your bed in the morning. it show s how responsible you are to yourself. if you cannot make your own room it tells people you do not give respect to yourself.thus, what does it tell relating to other people? one has to respect one's self first to respect other people. ok, here is the scenario, if one of your friends or relatives stays with you and he just leaves his re her mess without fixing it, how would you feel?

Hi abcnadz, Yes I do make my bed in the morning. Of course. The other options I can think of is to be a pig and sleep in a mess for all time, or to have servants around to take care of the mess for you. And so, unless I am absolutely in a rush because I am so so late for something important, I will make my bed.

If making the bed shows how discipled you are I should be the less discipled person in the universe. In fact, I can´t be bothered to make the bed in the morning. Some writer said that hell is repetition. I often imagine hell as a huge meadow full of undone beds. I prefer eating bugs that make beds for eternity. Some days I make my bed a few minutes before falling asleep. I hate it!

i am somewhat lazy in making my bed. we get up at 6.30 in morning ,but at that time i won;t make my bed. i make breakfast for husband and again i sleep at 7 o clock and get up at 9.30.so at this time i make my bed and do my household works. when my husband is at home, if i ask him also ,he won;t do . like other indians , he feels that household works are ladies duties.

I used to make all our beds in the morning after everyone was gone. Now that it's only my husband and me, it rarely gets made up unless I'm washing sheets and blankets unless we are expecting company. Nobody comes to go in my bedroom anyway. And, it's my house and my bed. I'm definitely not a fanatic housekeeper!

I do my bed every time I need to sleep. I am the one who also fix it when I and my husband are awake. I do not want it untidy but sometimes when my baby is playing I let it untidy because fixing it will only make it untidy again. When my baby is already sleeping that is the time that I fix it.

I am making my bed every day in the morning. I think I have to do it because it is my responsibility to do it. Because I am sleeping over there. It might even be disciplined thing to do. I am also a well disciplined person, I guess. lol

I have been making my bed since I was physically able to. I grew up very disciplined and military style like. I had a lot of rules and chores as a child, the least of which was a made bed. I am twenty-two and living at home and still have chores, obligations, and yes, a bed to make evrery morning. In college I did it too and still cannot go to bed or leave my house without all my clothes put up or in the dirty clothes basket and everything laid out an ready for tomorrow-even if it's four in the morning.

yeah, I do make my bed in the morning. It's part of my daily routine since I had my own bed. Before going out of the room I make sure that the bed is tidy. I also think that it's reflective of the discipline we have as a person. Likewise, if I miss out on this, I feel that for the rest of the day, I will be a mess :). This time, I'm trying to make my son do the same with his toys and pillows - talking of early discipline for children

Yes, I make bed in the morning. Because I think it is best to start your day from well-organized bed.

I make my bed by myself. But not immediately when I get up from my bed. I fisish my breakfast, and only people at home leave fopr their work, I make my bed and clean up the house. Some time, very occassionally, I make up my bed before I leave the room.

I don't have anyone to make it for me, but I don't always make it, either. I find the best thing to do is to make it a habit to get up and immediately pull the covers up. A room always looks better once the bed is made. My Grandma told me that, and its true!

Yes I do.. I was raised like that. My father or mother scolded us when we got up and our beds our not done yet. Its a habit now for me to do such thing. My boyfriend on the other hand, just wake up and leet his bed done by s0meonelse. So when we were together I always reprimand him to make his bed before he get up. At present, he's the one who make our beds since he get up late than I do.

yes, i always make my bed after geting up. maybe i am not a disciplined person,but i can not bear that my room is untidy.

Man I wish someone else would make my bed for but unfortunately I have to make my own bed, not only that I also have to make my two kids' beds. Well I dont have to but I choose too. I usually don't make the beds as soon as I get up, I am way to tired to be doing all of that but I do make them daily usually just after lunch time. I'm not sure if mine comes from being disciplined, I just thinks it looks nicer.

I donnot has this good habit,because I am a lazy boy.Indeed clean bed is good for our's environment and health.Maybe some day I will have this good habit,now I believe good fresh air is more important than clean bed.

Of course, I make up my bed in the morning. My bed takes up a lot of my room, and unless it's fixed, pretty, and tidy, the whole room would be a mess, too! Making up my bed actually makes the whole room look 80% better!=) I also used to live in a dormitory with 7 other ladies, and its quite embarrassing to leave your bed untidy while the others are fixing up theirs. Even now, I'm already staying at home, but I've carried the habit. So get up from those sheets and tidy up the bed!=)
