I cant live without net now , I do my 25% work through net, so if my net goes disconnected then I have to do it directly & it will take more time & cost.

Hey there! Literally, yes. But, the internet is very important. I work using the internet. How will I be able to earn a living if there's no internet? It's almost impossible for me to live without it.

Of course I could live without the Internet, I would still live and breathe and I still have 2 very well working hands that I can write with, a brain that I can think with...without using some calculator, I still receive a newspaper every day so I don't depend on it for news or anything else. Anything that I can do on the Internet I can also do in person, might take me longer, but I could do it.
That is not to say I would like to go without Internet, but I know from past experiences with the Internet that some times the server goes down also for a few days or weeks and when it does you have no choice...accept it or die...I'm Not ready to die just quite yet!!

I can survive but I wouldn't be happy, lol! I feel like I am going through withdrawals if I can not get to my computer and check my emails every day. I manage parts of my life via the internet and if I no longer could do it some things would become complicated.

No way! I only taught myself computers some five years ago, and up until two years ago, relied on the free use of library computers which was limiting as one can only use them for an hour. Now that I have my computer I practically live in front of it, not only coming here but earn some extra money by writing articles. I can't even remember what life was like without the computer/internet...my life has changed in so many ways due to it

Alot of the work which I do is related to the net in one way or another. I participate in alot of online surveys. I also write articles and posts for online places. Plus, most of my payments which I receive is through the net. I simply love to do a bit of online shopping every so often. Therefore, I would sorely miss the convenience of the net. It offers an excellent tool to connect to the world and make our life easier. I am not a net addict. Yet I would miss it.

I guess I probably would handle without the internet, since in that situation I wouldn't know what an internet is! Since knowing what an internet is I don't think I could survive without it for my entire life without going crazy, unless I got used to. Could I do without the internet for a short while? Yes, hopefully I'm not that addicted.

Well...I can survive since sruviving for me only means food, drink and air if the conditions were really limited that is...But I would get really pissed for having to suddenly stop using the internet because i have been using it everyday, so yea, you gotta give me some time to get use to it.. haha ^_^

Well the answer is no.. I am so 'addicted' and dependable on the internet that I can lose it for anything.. There is a huge lot to write about this..I know too much dependency is too bad but I am trying my best to isolate it from my life as much as possible.. lol

For me internet is important and it's been part of my daily lives. I am in foreign country and I used internet to keep in-touch with my family, which is good because it's cheaper! I think I'll get crazy at first, but I also think that I will survive without it.

I work as a researcher in the faculty of psychology of the Complutense University of Madrid. I love this job and one of my obligations is writing good articles in specialty magazines.
Internet is very useful to fulfill this task because it´s the fastest way to make a proper bibliographic review of the topic the article is about.
But despite this fact, I reckon I could live without internet. It would be hard and I would have to spend a lot of time in several libraries but I will find the way to manage it.

I would be able to survive without the internet.
Altho I would have to change job then.
Cause I make my living develloping for a telecomunication company. And 80% of my work is working on the site and what running behind it.
But ya I should if I took annother job be able to survive without :D
