Yes, a very bad news for all the members of destroy debt. they will not continue paying their members anymore. they just announced it yesterday, April 10, 2009.Those who have earned 3$ and above got their last payout processed, some may have received it already, just like me, some do not. I really feel bad and sad about this. Destry debt was such a nice site and a site where you can have the opportunity to earn a lot online.

The site just launched &quickly went scam. Such a fraud. We should be far way from this kind of site. Please try to join sites that is running for long time. You can find some good references on my profile. Check whether u have missed a site or not. Thanks

You have to keep in mind that some of the online money-making programs have a marketing tactic saying that they will pay members to use their site.
This tactic will attract more and more people to join the program. And if the members are overflowing already, they'll stop paying.
This can happen to mylot (who knows) but I'm not saying it will. However, we all know it's possible.
I'm not here for mylot cents anyway so I won't get affected if ever it'll happen. I'd still use this site because I'm here for its SEO benefit.

I was never a member of the site... but i read from discussions here that they paid good money... i wonder if that was just a tactic to gain a lot of traffic or that they want to rid of the site of abusers... just like what is happening in ciao nowadays... Asian cannot log in without using a proxy site...

It is unfortunate that another side has become the target of scammers and closes. Usually they just quitely fold their tents and do not pay every one. Someone should have a plan though to deal with the spammers because they are like locust when they decend, taking everything. I think myLot is wise in keeping its pay algorythm secret and not paying so much per post. Someone is going to have to start a graveyard of sites that pay and have either expired due to being killed off by scammers or expired due to mismanagement.

yup. mylot is wise when it comes to paying off their members, but we have to admit it, we earn faster and more in that site compared to mylot. but when it comes to anti-spamming techniques, mylot and reviewstream are two of the most alert sites when it comes to spamming.

I just read a comment saying that the site launched quickly and turned into a scam, which is untrue. The site had been around for 2 or 3 years, and this past month they had something like 3000 new members join, and they could not afford to pay all of the people 5 cents per post and 20 cents per blog topic, so they changed the rules around a little. Half the people on the site spammed over and over and over again. I spoke with the owner and he was going to consider having me become a third or 4th moderator of the site, but that fell through because he realized that he didn't have enough income to pay everyone.

we did not invest money on the site. just active participation. the spammers were pretty active to. the admin cannot handle them anymore so they just decided to stop paying. they informed their members, everyone of them and paid those who reached 3$ and above.

I'm sorry to hear about your site but you know, I have seen this coming that's why even though I hear a lot about destroydebt I did not got interested joining the site.
This is what usually happens when a recently launched site becomes a hit. It is not yet that stable but a lot will be joining because of its popularity and offers of bigger earnings. After a while of operating they can no longer pay their members. I have seen this happen with other sites too and have been a victim once. So I become keener in joining new earning sites.
Good thing you were still able to get your payment. Congratulations!

Hi Joiemarvic!
This is really the sad news because I had joined this site two days ago and was finding it easier than this mylot for earning as I had easily reaching more than one dollar in a single day. This always happens to me, I am tired. Every site turn to be scam but this one is informing its great. But I don't have to feel that sad because I had just one dollar in the accounted. And about destroy debt I had doubt in the beginning because it was paying for many useless posts. Well thanks for the information....
Happy mylotting...

Too bad for those who have joined and started exerting efforts just to earn from this site. This sounds frustrating especially to those who really contributed and who have wasted their time getting referrals.

I joined few days back. Earned around 5.96 and had asked few people to join as referrals, and thought i can earn decent money there. But due to spammers they had to stop. I recieved my payment. My request. PLEASE DO NOT CALL DESTROY DEBT a scam. It was a wonderful and genuine site. If they were scam. THey needn't inform people about closing reveue share. THe announced the closing. Gave us our payments. That was a genuine and informative site. Thanks to spammers we lost a great site.

Hi JOIEMARVIC, it is a bad news indeed to all the members of destroy debt, especially those who have made the earning there below 3 dollars. It is quite unfair and not worthy as well, that money is not paid for the effort and time have put in.
I am glad there you still have got back at least some money earned there. Just let go what we could retried anymore. Be happy again my dear, there are still some legitimate and reliable sites for you to work with. Hopefully you could come across some nice ones soon.
Wish you all the best and Happy Posting

I can understand why they are doing it, because i was reading tsome topics in forum, and some people were only writing like " fhuwefy hhf hfwu ekw " stuff just to earn 2 cents for this.
I wasn't surprised. It was so easy to make money on this site and normally some people abused it/
