Do you seem to waste time playing computer games?

I haven't been able to accomplish much on the computer in quite awhile. It seems like I feel "brain dead" after a hard day at work and don't want to think too hard. I recently became addictied to yahtzee. I remember playing that game years ago as a board game and found out it was now a computer game you can play as a solitaire game. I can't even go to bed at night before playing a game or two, which turns into about an hour of playing! LOL. Anyone relate to this?

Yes,i do play computer games last time and now when i think back,i feel that it's a waste of time because when i am not playing anymore, the achievements in my game just stay inside the virtual world and it is of no use for the real world. And due to that,i waste many of time playing computer games and did not study. Now i stop playing computer games and hope you don't play too much too.

I have had games I was hooked on in the past. Now it is more that I am hooked on posting to forums, etc. I would like to get back to some games. I guess there is still plenty of work for you, and I am glad of that.

What I have found, is that if i start playing games on the computer I can easily waste two, three hours or more easily without even realizing it. But, the good news is, if I don't start playing the games, I usually don't miss them too much. Now what I've found is that i am becoming addicted to pay for post sites, like this one. I can easily spend two hours a day posting on sites like mylot. But, at least with this time I am making a little bit of money.

Yes,I seem t have wasted a lot of time on compluter games. At present,I am a student and I should not play too much, but sometimes I just don't want to study and just want to play computer games with my roomates.Usually I don't play on weekdays because I have to attend classes, but when it comes to weekends,I sometimes even play a whole day!Maybe I have to be more selfcontrol.

Yup, these few days I got started on spider solitaire, and can't seem to get away from it. Every time I'm supposed to be doing my work, I would switch screen and got stuck in the game, which could last for hours! Fun though!

With my kind of work, I do not have the time to play in the computer anymore. Though even if I have the time, I think I will not play considering that I am not very fond of computer games. I guess it is an inherent characteristic of females that are not so interested with computer games. My son loves to play with the computer a lot.

Computer games are a lot of fun, and occasionally I get caught up in one. In the end it is completely wasted time. I don't think that I will ever completely give up on games, but I try to keep gaming to a minimum. Working on social media and promoting my book keeps me busy during my Internet time, as well as writing tasks here in MyLot.
It is important to play, but within reason. The games that I enjoy most now are online browser-based RPG games. They are great because you can check on them for a few minutes and go on to important other things while the game keeps progressing without you. This way you can build up resources in the game and etc. while not actually playing for hours.

Oh yes. Worse than that, before I got my computer, I would play Yahtzee with dice, all the time..when I got up, after work, after dinner, before bed - you know how it goes. I would write down my scores and then figure averages and so on...talk about needing to get a life. My partner would often play with me. I still play on the computer but I have included Hearts, Backgammon and Patience as well. Also a game called Greedy, also based on a dice game. Like you it's something to do with my brain but I'm not sure what it means. My Dad, who is 95, plays patience (with real cards) for hours on end.

I have had my times when I find a new game online and become addicted to it. For a few months, I am hooked. Just when I think that I am becoming hopeless, I get totally bored with the game. It is good to play games online to relax and unwind. This is when I do most of my deep thinking.

I am gamer and I play around 3 to 4 hours playing videogames a day. I dont think its a waste of time playing videogames for me.. Playing videogames relieves stress, it develops eye hand coordination, it makes you think quickly, it makes you observant when you're playing first person shooter, and of course Gaming is fun...

I don't play videogames, but I agree that games are relaxing and I feel it keeps the mind active, which can't hurt.
