IS ART IMPORTANT?

Yes,art is really important to me,i love to see great paintings and photos.and my room is full of french posters and naked pics.

Yes, I feel that art is important. It's a safe way for us to express our thoughts and feelings..a good way of putting our mind at ease.

It depends. Much of "modern" art is glorified crap. The government shoud never use our tax money to subsidize it.

It affects me alot i love art im an artist and painting is my world art is just my thing.

I'm an artist so I certainly hope so. truly, we presnt a mirror of culture to itself, and culture needs that to make important changes to itself.beyond that if a culture has a successful art scene than it can't be lingering in poverty,art is vital but a people need to be surviving before they can perform self-inspection.

yes, but its important to realize that art comes in many different forms. art is paintings and drawings, music, architecture, clothes/style, etc. we are imposed to various forms of art every single day whether we know it or not. just think what are life would be like without these forms of art..i would assume it'd be pretty dull, but actually im not sure if we can live without them.
