Some times the icing on certain cakes is way too sweet for me. When it's like that then I'll scrape a lot of the icing off and put it to the side of the plate. I know some people who will eat all of the sickening sweet icing all up. Just the thought of it makes my teeth hurt. Do you eat all of the icing on cake if it's too sweet?

Pretty much every kind of icing/frosting is too sweet for me. I love the actual cake part. If there was more cake and less frosting, it'd be great for me. I like frosting... it's just too sweet. I have to force myself to eat more than I want because I don't want to waste the desert :P Every time I eat cupcakes or cake, I really don't want to eat much of the frosting. The thought of it makes me sick. I usually eat as much as I can, and try to save it for later... I really don't like the thought of wasting food.

This is one of those times when I would really like a delete button on mylot :| I was in the middle of posting this, but my internet went off, and the page went blank, so I thought it didn't go through. So I re-posted :| Great :| Sorry about that.

No I like whipped cream or cream cheese frosting that are not real sweet. Sweet is why I don't like carrot cake.

Well to me the icing is the best part. However there have been times when it was overly sweet and I couldn't eat it all. I think I have a weird way of eating cake. I eat the cake first then the icing, but 9 out 10 times I eat all of the icing.

I hardly ever eat all the icing on a cake. I like the whipped cream type frosting better its not as sweet. But even then i usually don't eat all the frosting either. The other frosting makes me feel like i am going to swallow my teeth from all the sugar in it, it's just way to much to deal with sometimes. it's almost like the cake and the frosting are just as thick as eacother. its really nasty to. I used to be the butter cream type frosting when i was younger but as i got older I could not take it as much so i stick with the whipped cream frosting the non dairy stuff is just as good with just the right kick of sweet to it. try it see how u like it? might be better u may find that you enjoy it better

I eat the icing, I've eaten the icing with no cake before! I remember for my wedding my sister scraped all the icing off of the tiers and put it in a bowl for me! mmmmm..... That was sooo good!!!

I really do not eat a whole lot of cake anymore. I cannot stand for the icing to be too sweet. I won't eat much of it.

No I scrape as much of it off as I can. I really do not like icing or frosting. It doesn't make my teeth hurt or anything I just really don't like the oily taste it leaves behind.

I like icing/frosting, but I really wish there was more of the actual cake and less icing/frosting. I can't eat a lot of it, because it's way too sweet for me. The thought of it makes me sick. I have to force myself to eat more than I want, because I hate the thought of wasting food. I usually end up leaving most of the frosting/icing and putting it in the fridge for later... hoping I'll maybe find something to eat it with (as I mentioned, I hate throwing good food away).
