I am sure the young man may doing all this for money otherwise how he would marry women who is 20 years older than him .

Hello Rocket sky, look , everything is decided by human beings. There has been no outer agency to impose or dictate you what is good and what is bad. Our social set up decides sometime correctly and sometime just whimsically the dos and do nots. That Your mother was not in a position to accept such relation for she has had all the long been attached with a certain kind of belief and anything going against it would stand unacceptable for her. But if you look into the relation there is nothing abnormal as they got attracted to each other and married for love or attraction of this sort would not know our or you values and ethics nor good nor bad. 20 years difference seems a big deal but I know practically one such relation who are now husband and wife and the wife is 13 years older to the husband. Except certain biological problem there should not be any between the ones you mentioned. Why not accept it as normal? There is nothing wrong here.

I do not know,I think may be they love each other,maybe love exceed other things.Maybe my ideas are too simple,but I believe the world has the true love.Best wishes.

Nothing wrong with it! I have been married for 13 years to a man who is nine years younger than me. We have a daughter and the age gap between us has not ever been an issue, ever! Twenty years is a considerable difference but who are we to judge? Love is love and it does not have an age. Certainly there are people that marry for convenience and for money but that can happen at any age. If I had been given the choice I would have preferred to marry someone my own age or older but I wasn't and I happened to fall in love and nothing else really mattered!

The only reason it seems here is money as nobody wants to marry a this much old woman as it would be socially unfit. As there is news everywhere now that young people marry to older people on agreement basis for their money.

it`s ok i think.i don`t laugh at them,perhaps i would wish the couples have a better life.normally,i can accept almost the odd,weired,strange things,like homosexual.human`s feelings are curious and mysterious,you can`t imagine how people would do next.i mean it`s not easy to control the love`s happening,no matter the age,or other odd things.if they really find true love,everything is ok.

Hi rocketsky, I believe that such things are a personal matter between the two people involved and should not concern others. I have known men who married women who were twenty years younger than themselves and so do difference if it's the woman who is older. It would not however be something that I would want for myself as I prefer a partner much closer to my own age, but that is a personal preference. Blessings.

Why can't they just be in love and want to spend their life togheter? It's perfectly okay for a older man to marry a younger woman. Men having children at age 60-70 is okay (the mother of the child is way younger....) Some marriges where the man are 30-40 years older is "okay" but if the woman is 5 years older than the man - it's wrong. Just let them live their life and be happy!

she must have money & he's wanting to spend some of it. it's not normal for either one of them.

I dont think its normal, but not morally unacceptable as long as both parties have an aggreement and they are not hurting anyone else .. I bet every one will be watching them both for any signs of unease and unhappiness for ages ... at least untill the next potential scandal breaks *

It is easy and common for a yong lady to married a old man. But the young man marred a old lady is hard to accept. I don't konw why but I should with the change of the feman status this kind of thing will be more and more common. Nowdays, many feman become very ability and rich who also have the needing of caring.

Well...On a neutral point of view, i emphatize with the lady that got married with a younger man.. It must have killed her pride with SOO MANY people talking about how wrong her marriage was. Maybe she must have thought about this, and had refused the guy and then the guy would promise to love her forever and you know how this works..Anyway, i guess it would be kinda strange seeing an older woman with a younger man but well what can i say...Love has no boundaries when it comes to age especially when they both have accepted each other, it wouldn't matter to them if we don't...^_^

hi don't be puzzled. it's not abnormal.Thinks about those old men who married young girls.In fact these two are same.We can accept that,why we cann't accept the old lady marry young man.

It may be true that sometimes young people marry old people because of money but I can assure you that its not always the case. My Aunt married a man 20 or more years younger than her and shes not rich. They're both minimum income earners but until now they're still together.

First I must say that your mother has a very strange idea of what is moral and everyone has their own normality. Fortunately what your mother can or cannot accept is not really of any real interest to the rest of us. My daughter got married 5 years ago. She was 42 and her husband was 22. They have a very happy marriage. Another of my daughters married a guy 15 years older than her. That lasted 25 years and only ended because she met another guy who she liked better. What to say to her? I think "Yes mother you are entitled to your opinion but don't expect others to agree."

well its getting common now. It was usually rich guys were getting wives 20 , 30 or even more younger to them but now the rich girls are doing same. i dont have a problem in that so long both are happy and getting from marriage for what they married for. Love is as they say blind and can happen with anyone.. i fail to understand the society accepts a 45 years old man to marry 20 years old woman but when 45 years woman marry a 25 years old man it somehow is not as much accepted. I think we should let the couple be happy and leave them alone.

I have no idea about this.I don't concern about what they happened to each other.more and more things we can not account for and accept.

mmm love is blind, can be 10 , can be 20 years of difference but in the love doens't exist the age

I think age is not a distance, as long as they love each other, respect each other, it can certainly happy!
