Who wants to be a millionaire?

I am just curious how this idea might come into fruition.
Let's say that one person signs onto a website and the idea is to have a million friends. Then let's say that those million friends each send one person one dollar on their birthday. But then when somebody else's name came up on the list, everyone would have to send that person a dollar. Now tell me if you think it could work or not. Would we all remain friends in the end....given that our friendship isn't based upon money but upon making our friends happy on their special day? I would love to hear what your thoughts are on this. Would we all look at this as being a dollar richer or a dollar poorer, please share your thoughts...... It is an idea that sort of came to me while I was watching the geekie guy on tv that created Facebook. Today he is a billionaire. Could the same thing actually happen to us right here at mylot? Tell me what you think.............

i think everyone here wants to be a millionaire. at first, i logged on this website is to earn money, and then, i wanted to make friends here. but no one response me, i am upset, and don't know why.

I agree with you Sharon, I think that secretly everyone up here would love to be a millionaire. I'm sorry to hear that you were not able to make friends here as quickly as you would like......... I think that everyone is simply using this site in the manner in which it works best for them.... while there are some here that are serious about making friends I'm sure that there are many more that are looking to make money. If you continue to hang in here you will meet some nice people I'm sure. Yet there are a few other websites where the bonds of friendship seems much closer. Why do people want to give 1 dollar to someone who does not need it? If someone wants to be a millionaire, it has to be hard work and a lot of efforts from him. Not because other people DONATE to him. Because that way, the person would not appreciate the 1 million he has. He will just burn them away and repeat the process, and start asking people to donate 1 dollar each again.
Seriously, I will not even donate a single penny to someone who is not worth it, especially those who don't even need it.
