A good education provides the tools for understanding .The first and most important of these tools is language for communiction.Language is such an important tool that can't communicate with anyone or get access to any other subject without it .Some people like to communicate by telephone . Others like to communicate by letter. Now chating on the internet is very popular way to communicate . which do you prefer to communicate-by phone or by letter ,by internet?

These days I prefer communicating by the internet mainly because its free! Yes, I would be frank here…telephones bills are beginning to hurt and in times when a mediocre income seems to be unable to achieve much, every penny saved is a lot. But telephone is definitely a more personal touch, you can actually hear each other and the emotions are more alive. I enjoyed spending hours on the telephone, specially when my parents were footing the bill

I like a good mix of both. I don't want to be overly dependent on my mobile phone. In my last job, I experienced people who would always use the excuse that they have sent a text message about a particular subject. I find it too informal and that it is always the safe way out. If you think about it, no matter how technology has helped people, it still has glitches.
With this, I always make it a point to also send an e-mail because this sort of documents whatever transpires me and another party. :)

The most of people like mix of both . Gernerally businessman sends e-mails to other for commercial communication .While personal communication happens to telephones . But for young people the internet is their favorite . In my own view if for exchange feeling phone is better than internet ,if for commercial matter internet is more convinient.

I am an older woman and I do not really like cell phones. You see there are tons of people on cell phones walking in malls and shopping with these phones stuck to their face. I can also hear all their personaly business as well. I feel when you are talking on the phone with a doctor or even a close friend that conversation should be private.
I guess what I am saying is that for the most part I feel land lines are the best way to communicate. This lets you take care of personal business in private without some stranger looking at you strangly when they here you have a GYN appointment next week. This really does happen. I also like the fact that the land line is not as expensive as a cell phone.
The internet is a great way to communicate with family in other states. It is also a cheap way as well. You can even hook up a camera so you can see your family on the other end. This is a great way to communicate and I do use this way as well when I want to chat with family and friends around the world.
I also have a cell phone that I only use for emergencys. I do not use it to make doctor appointments or talk about my personal life. I use this phone to keep track of my child and husband. These phones let me know that when my family is late for some reason they are safe and I do not need to worry. The other thing that is good about this cell phone is when the car breaks down and you are on the highway alone. You can call someone to come get you no matter where you are or what time of day it is.
I guess that we all use different ways to communicate with our family and friends. I just think that you should be aware of your surroundings when you are talking to these friends and family so that you are not giving out too much information for the whole world to here.
I can not pick just one way of communication because one is not enough for me.

Hi ,how nice to meet you here ,thank you for your response in detail. What you said is quite resonable and correct . We need not only one way for communiction. For those who are closer with us we would like to communicaion by phone for personal things or work we use internet in oder to complete task quickly .Everyweek my parents call me a time and I send some short messages to my father by cell phone ,while chating with my sister on the internet .

That depends on the nature of the person with whom I'm communicating, and why I've initiated the contact. One of my cousins does not like to talk on the phone, so I send her long, chatty e-mails. Another loves to talk, so we have long phone conversations and catch up with all the family gossip. I only send correspondence snail mail when it is absolutely necessary. Business letters usually go snail mail; although, I've been able to conduct business with some companies recently via e-mail. Sometimes when a person is especially long winded without saying much of anything, I prefer to correspond with that person via e-mail. As you see - it depends.

I prefer to communicate by phone myself I really don't enjoy writing letters.
And communication over the internet seems so impersonal to me. I have always
been like this and the internet hasn't changed a thing for me in this regard.

Internet. I can still run and do something in the middle of a conversation and come back to it when I can and with 2 little ones I need that. I can also fuss at the kids without someone on the phone hearing what I am doing lol. My kids seems to scream and act crazy everytime I have the phone to my ear. I try to go hide but they always find me. My kids are really young still.

I prefer to communicate through the internet. It is faster. You don't have to worry about dialing a number or even what time of day it is. Call me crazy but my sister and I live across the street from each other. We communicate more through the internet than the phone. We she calls, I am usually working on the net and I miss her calls. She is out often, so she never gets my call. I always have to leave a message. We also send each other jokes and poems. The phone is great if you have not talked to local friends in a while. It is good to hear their voices.

For me I thik communication through phone is more comfortable that the other means because I sometimes don't like using my eyes to watch the screen for too long. So using phone to communicate can help my eyes to relax by just talking with the other people without open my eyes! Oh! it's so comfortable, but using phone for a long time can cause something bad to our health. So I think the combination of these means of communication can be the good way to communicat.:)

Well, usually if the people i want to communicate with are people that i know, probably close friends, bf or family then i would prefer communicating with them through the telephone cz i'd be comfortable talking to them on the phone and telling them stuff like juicy gossips or something would be easy, and what more they'll be able to hear your tone and the facial expressions that you might be making. If the people i want to communicate with are just people i barely know, i'd prefer to connect with them on the internet where i could thnk first before i say things..haha...well that's just me..

personally, my favorite is talking in person. but out of the two... with most people i'm absolutely rubbish on the phone, so i would say internet. There's only a couple people I know who i can talk to a long time on the phone, and with everyone else i just can't seem to find conversation. So internet is better for me than a phone.

It depends on the distance...if I have to talk to someone across country, I definitely would prefer chatting since it is cheaper and there will be no signal interruption however, if it is just someone away but in the same country or place then talking through phone is just great so I can hear his/her voice but nothing really beats the actual communication when you got to see the facial expression and laughter of the person your talking with.

Hi there!
Both to me are just fine. Both are good ways to communicate though the internet I guess is more advanced.
Communication by internet is more popular for overseas workers in my country. Internet is more useful for those who works far from home and has to communicate with their families. They can use the webcam and send unlimited videos to their loved ones. More appropriate type of communication for families.
Phone on the other hand is the most common way of communication. Though not having much feature but still very reliable way of communicating.
For me, I prefer communication by phone, through my cellphone. I find it easier not having to use computers or no internet connection which I think is more expensive than buying loads. My cellphone is very handy and I can bring it anywhere so anyone, anytime and anywhere I can communicate.
Ciao!

I would prefer phone rather than internet. It gives you the correct picture of what he is saying with his voice. You can make out the guy by the way he talks over phone which cant be analysed if we communicate via internet.
So always phone is better.

yeah ,you are right . If I speak with somebody by phone I can judge my partner's status by one's voice and feelings that is being conveied . Furthermore the speed of communication will be improved more rapidly than chating on the internet . This a kind of direct way to communicate.

I think I like online better, coz I can multi-task. With being on the phone, it's hard to do a lot of other things while talking on the phone.

I totally agree! Face to face communicating is the best and by far, the most reliable source. If someone is telling you via cellphone, something that he/she heard from someone else, it tends to get stretched out a bit. The internet does have its advantages. I use it mainly for college and am able to get my assignments in on time rather than actually driving to school, plus its good for the environment because you're not burning fuel.
