How often do you have a lazy day?
I think I'm going to have one today. I've been staying busy lately, going to the park and walking a lot. But I'm out of gas now so I can't drive to the park, and I don't have money for more gas. I'm stuck home today and other than cleaning my house, which isn't too filthy, I really don't have anything to do.
When was your last lazy day? What do you do on a lazy day?

I am laughing as I just cannot imagine you haviing a lazy day - not with five children. A lazy day to me would be not cooking or cleaning or doing anything that I did not want to do. I usually read or watch tv whilst lying on my bed.
You still have two babies to take care of so you might take things a little easy today but what you call lazy is what other people would call hard work. You are just amazing!

Actually all 5 of the kids are home today, but I'm not going out anywhere and I have so little to do today because my cleaning is done, so that's why I call it a lazy day. I'm not leaving the house or working out or anything like that.

Mine go to bed early also, because by 7pm I've had enough of them and I'm ready to scream. The only time they really stay up later than 7pm are nights when their dad is home, and we usually watch a movie those nights, so they stay up until 8, 9, sometimes 10 depending on the movie.

I know that I never soped as well as you do and I had help. I had 3 boys in 3 years and it was such hard work. Mind you - I was old fashioned in that they went to bed early every night. They got to see their father a lot as we lived on a farm so he was in and out all day and would often put one of them on his shoulders and go into the bush with that one.

I have lazy days once in awhile. I normally don't do much of anything. I rarely leave the house on lazy days. I mostly sit around and watch television or myLot on my lazy days. They do not happen too often though. Today is not one of them. I was up and in the shower and dressed by 8:30 this morning and will be leaving the house within the hour.

If I had somewhere to go I would, but I'm rather tired so I think a lazy day is just what the doctor ordered for me today.

i have a lazy day probably weekly lol i don't have a job or anything so
and i try to keep myself busy by doing things but that falls short sometimes.
and sometimes i am just worn out from working out so much since i have nothing else to do that i need a lazy day or just laying around. so my body can heal lol
lazy days i just lay around, listen to music, watch t.v, i don't work out and i tend to eat a bunch lol

Same here. I can't stop myself from eating when I have nothing better to do. I eat out of boredom. It's become a habit, I have to eat when I watch TV or when I'm on the computer, so that's why I try to keep myself busy so I don't eat as much.

Sounds like a good way to spend the day. I normally don't get lazy days. I still have a 5 year old home during the day and he keeps me pretty busy. When I have time to have a lazy day, I normally take a nap and do less than what I normally do, my husband might even get take out LOL

All of my kids are home today, but I don't consider that work anymore. It's just part of my daily routine, just like taking a shower. I did dishes and everything but it's still a lazy day if you ask me.

It's just the two of us so we get lazy days pretty regularly, especially in the winter when there really isn't anything else to do. We usually just lay around and watch TV or movies, maybe take a nap. I try to limit the lazy days but sometimes the call of the couch is a little too loud to ignore!

Yes, I'm noticing once you start a lazy day, it's pretty hard to break it up and actually get something accomplished, not to mention I'm feeling really guilty about being so lazy on such a nice day.

i dont think that i get lazy days , im too busy in my studies and earning money on mylot , well also i like to pass my time chatting to my friend , and playing out door games. because if u dont have these things in ur life then ur life is not going to work properly . also i like to do work , any work will do but i need some work .

I don't consider studying or being on Mylot as work. I can be on Mylot all day and I'd consider that a lazy day.

My lazy days are usually on the weekends. I usually take Friday evening and make that a day where I don't have much to do other than working my babysitting job and doing what I need to do or want to do for myself. Sometimes I extend it to Saturday since Friday I still have classes and stuff to do. I try not to make my lazy days last too long however because I know I'll end up getting way behind.
If I'm being lazy, I'm usually watching TV, playing around on the net, that kind of thing. Sometimes I go out and do some shopping and stuff. It all really depends.

I have not had a lazy day for a few days now, but when I do then I really do. I do pretty much nothing! I normally end up spending much of the day on the computer as well. Mind you saying that I do not get much time on the computer anymore so its a nice way to have a lazy day!!

We've had a couple of days where we didn't do much, if you can call looking after a little, very active small person not doing very much!
The weekend was rainy so we spent most of the day sat about drinking tea and chatting, then we had a bit of a rubbish week this week so got pretty demotivated whilst we got our heads around things.
I actually dislike days where you don't get on with anything as at the end of them I feel as if the day has been wasted. I suppose it's because I can't get down to any serious relaxing because of the kids. If I could sit and read all day I'd at least feel I'd DONE something, but when I can't concentrate on a thing I consider it wasted time and all the things I should have been doing come back and haunt me!

I'm having a lazy day today. I really do not have to cook, because I made chicken last night, and we went to a reception given by the board of education in our town, so I saved that for today. I do have phone calls to make for the upcoming election, but many people are not home during the day, so I will put that off until later. Jake, my cat and I did take a little nap this afternoon. There is nothing on TV, except the installation of the new Cardinal in New York, so rather than lazy to me it is a rather boring day. I have done a little Mylotting, but haven't found too many interesting discussions to respond to. Maybe, I'll make a cake.

Hey kats! If it was me I would probably do nothing! I would
just hang around my house and sleep a little longer and maybe
go online and just be lazy! Since the weather is not cooperating
as it should being that it is supposed to be Spring I am just
not motivated yet to do much! Not anything inside or outside!
I am still feeling the winter blues! If the weather was warm
and sunny then I would be going out and walking and enjoing
the day!

Oh my, a lazy day. I don't have too many of those days with my Aspergers 8 year old and 2 year old. They are always keeping me on my toes. I would read if I had a day like that! I say that, but more than likely, I would be on the net..lol I hope that you enjoyed it and was able to get some things done ;)

I'm not really a person that just likes to be lazy or laying around doing nothing, but I had company for the last 10 days.
Today is the first day that I don't have to go anyway and I'm glad.
I'm actually looking forward to being lazy .
They going back to Germany tomorrowso then it's gonna be back to normal.
