Yep people protested the bail outs in mass yesterday....but washington does not care. THe new one is a "newpaper"bail out. Yep they are going to nationalize the news. Not only is that a really bad idea when it comes to freedom of the press....but what part of NO MORE BAIL OUTS do you not understand?
What do you think? When will it stop? Are they really that stupid?

I think bailing out the newspapers is a HUGE waste of money! The worst papers, the ones who have become little more than a giant Op Ed piece, are losing readership, as they should. Bailing them out won't help...you can't force people to read something they consider worthless.

Lilwonder it will not stop until we vote them all out that would entertain such a notion that we the taxpayers need to support a newspaper that could not make it on their own. I wonder how many of those newspapers with their hands out were riduculing the Tax Day Tea Parties?

Hi lilwonders...First of all I'm just shaking my head over the more bail outs - I don't know what to think or say at this point. Secondly I believe they want to have more of a hand in the press. All communist countries control the press, don't they?

They won't stop until they have full control of every aspect of our lives. It is not socialism looming, but full on fascism and communism. I SO wish I were wrong, but I know I am not.

i'd get rid of all of them, none of them tell the truth, only what the head honcho of such name paper thinks and what his views are. get 1 or 2, 24/7 news channels and let the people decide whats true and start getting some new young blood in politics. 65 your out done, nada, zilch. no more limo, guards, nada go back to being a lawyer if ya want to work but lets get some fresh blood flowing in the brains of our young people to change this crap, you want pork move to a pig farm but get away from our money, ya want a filibuster wasting thousands 100's of thousand of our time and money, you get 1 hour, then sit down and shut up, hey harry reid you out there you idiot, he'd be the first to go and take crazy nancy with you. no bail out's nada, none, zilch, zip

Of course the very liberal Obama admenistration and members of Congress will bail out the newspapers since most of them lean heavily toward the liberal left. They want to keep as much of the media slanting toward them as possible, they already have most of the TV networks.
