sometimes when there is a parrty at your place there are too many utensils and some are very oily and greasy. i feel they are difficult to wash also. do you people wash your kitchen utensils on your own, or you have a dishwasher or a maid for that. are you happy the way your maid works or washes the utensils. i sometimes give her sosap mixed in water and i mafe a good lather of it and then give her to wash the utensils. i think it is convenient . i dont have a dish washer at home. i have a maid servant and she washes and cleans all the utensils everyday. i do them when she is not there, or is on leave, has taken off, any holiday, anything, then i take charge of washing. otherwise i just wipe them wfter washing and keep them in order at their places. are you comfortable in washing utensils. please share your experiences when your maid is not there and you have to do all the work on your own.

Well, we don't have a maid or a dishwasher here at home.. it's all up to me.. i've got no choice but to do it myself.. i love cooking so definitely pans, pots, utensils pile up.. after cooking, i wash them right away cause i don't want to see them piling up.. yay! i usually use liquid dishwashing soap to eliminate the grease and all that..

We don't have a dishwasher either, and honestly, washing dishes or utensils is the single most hateful jobs I'd ever had. I'd rather cook, clean house or do ironing rather than doing dishes.
It was even funny at one point when I told my friend that I'd grow banana trees all over the house so we could just use banana leaves as plates so we'd never ever wash anything again. hahaha..
Well, too bad, until now I still force myself to wash them. Whew!

I prefer to do dish washing with my son as it gives us a few minutes of talking together discussing daily news what has happened in his life at school and thus we can give my wife a break from the house chores

I prefer to use a dishwasher, that way you have no greasy water, and I feel like that after you wash just one dish in the dishwater in the sink then all the rest of the dishes that follow you are cleaning in each of its filth. It is like taking a bath, you are sitting in and pouring on your own filth that is in the bathtub.
I like to take long hot baths but not until I have taken a shower then I sit in our double size whirlpool and soak while the jets massage's my body.
So like I said I prefer the dishwasher over the sink any day, dishes are cleaner and more sanitize that way.

I've always volunteered to cook when there was a party back in college. Not only because I enjoyed cooking, but also because those who cooked didn't have to wash the utensils. ^_^
Now that I am working. We have three maids doing all the housework for us. However, I don't feel assured with those tensils washed by them. I used to smell them and wash them again by myself before using. I always feel there's a fish stink from those dishes and glasses, even though we haven't eaten fish for days. Maybe I am just oversensitive but who knows! I am thinking about buying a dish washer. It would be a good choice for you too.

Sometimes I don't mind washing dishes by hand but I feel like things get cleaner in a dishwash b/c they have that sanitizer button on ours. I always wipe down the dishes and sometimes even use soap before I put them in the dishwasher.

Hi aweins! I don't have a maid! I have no dishwasher either!
I have to wash all my dishes and utensils by hand! If they
are really greasy and oily I let them soak in soapy water for
awhile and then I scrub them until they are clean! If there
is something that I feel is just too dirty and caked with
food I will sometimes leave it in the sink overnight, which
I really don't like to do! But, I wash all my dishes as soon
as I finish the meals! I don't like doing dishes, but I also
don't want to leave them in the sink! I wish I did have a
maid sometimes, but I can barely afford the cost of food!

i didn;t have dish washer ,as we can;t afford it. i don;t have maid also. i only wash dishes in my house. i don;t like to wash, but it is compulsory for me ,because my husband won;t do it ,as he feels that washing is ladies duty. so i will only do household works like cleaning dishes, washing clothes, doing cooking.
we can have maids here in our place , but they will not do properly and they will not come in time .they will not do if we tell any extra work. so i didn;t put any maids . weekly once ,one of my husband's office maid will come ,we will ask him to do kitchen cleaning and bathroom cleaning. for weekly once , he is taking more money,so decided to stop him.
but for now i only should do dishes cleaning and other household works.

We have a dishwasher and I rarely use it. The kids each use it on their nights to do the dishes but on mine I just hand wash them. Its easier and faster in my opinion. I can wash them, dry them and put them away all at one time instead of haivng to wait for a cycle to go and then for them to dry, etc. I like to have everything done and put away before I go to bed.

Hello aweins,
I prefer to wash the dishes manually. When there is a party at home, we normally be a group of two or three people and start to wash all the utensils. It is quite a fun sometimes and while washing the dishes, we just talk, talk and have fun like small kids sometimes...

I don't have a dishwasher, and as far as my family is concerned, I AM the maid! I have to admit that dishwashing is one of the chores that I can actually enjoy. It is very satisfying, and can be done while one chats on the phone or watches the world go by out the kitchen window. After a big party it can be a bit daunting, but the day to day dishwashing is okay by me.

I have to wash them myself. One of the things I plan to buy when I remodel/redecorate my kitchen is a dishwasher, because it woudl be so nice to have one time consuming thing taken out of the day.

I don't have a dishwasher or maid! lol I wish! i don't mind washing the dishes then i know they are clean, usually you have to "pre-wash" them before you stick them in the washer so what sense does it make? and they don't always get clean, when I wash them I know I'm scrubbing every crease and crevice and I make sure they are clean before I put them away and rinse them.

Among all electric appliances, the dish washer is the least wanted in china. Even the young couples do not have it on the wedding list, or do not use it though maybe installed at home. I do not have a dish washer, because I think it is a waste of water, and you have to wipe them clean before placing them in the machine. I would prefer to wash by hand.

I bought a dish washer two years ago because I was so tired of washing dishes. I have a family of four and dished just always seemed to be piled up. That was my most hated house hold chore, so I spent the money and bought one. I absolutely love it but I have found myself being tired of having to loading and unloading the dish washer already LOL. I knew it would come to that point, it just allowed me to become more lazy. I usually wash the pans on my own still just because I don't like the way my glass items come out when the pans are in there.
I started having my daughter load the dish washer three times a week as a chore just to help out a bit, she really likes doing it, she wants to do it every night but I tell her three nights is good enough of a help.
