Does she really bring anything different to this season? I find her a little annoying at times & sense that the other Judges don't really accept her. Has anyone noticed that Paula keeps turned away from her most of the time or is just my imagination?.

I haven't really watched American Idol at all..But the whole concept just seems weird to me. Why on earth would they have FOUR judges? An even number? And it seems like she just kind of came out of no where.
What I DO like about her, from the one episode I've seen - she seems to give good CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, and it seems like she really wants contestants (even ones that are kicked off the show) to improve & succeed. *shrugs*

I like Kara. I think that she does bring a little of her own into the show. I think that they are getting rid of Paula next season and Kara is her replacement, that is why she is on this month.

I admit that at first, I didn't like her. Perhaps not her per se, but the idea of having a fourth judge. I hated it. But as the show progressed, I started to appreciate her and what new she brings to the show. Now I can say that among the four judges, Kara makes the most sense. She's actually correct with most, if not all of her comments and she gives the contestants suggestions as to what songs would best fit them. I don't know about that Paula thing though. I just think that while Paula is more on the "performance" side, like your stage presence, Kara tends to dwell more on the technical side of things which I think is more important. Haha :)
