LOL or Laugh/Laughing Out Loud is too mainstream. Do you ever get tired of laughing out loud? I think I should refrain from using that acronym. Do you think SOW (smile out wide) is a good alternative?

marge58 Welcome to MyLot, yes, they do seem to know so much about today's technology! I have let my kids & grandkids play with the computer since they were old enough to hold on to a mouse.

marge58 Isn't just amazing how fast these littleones learn? This is a good thing. It's exciting to watch them with these new technology skills. signs of the future generation are popping up everwhere our kids are going "High-Tech" at 2 & 3yrs old!

I found the cutest little plant in Ohio..all spikey like a cactus, my mom calls them hens & chickens? will they grow in Texas?

marge58 I have had them on the back porch in just moderate sun for about a week now & they seem like they like it there ok...Mom said they will bloom a pretty red flower when they mature...I haven't had good luck with cactus like plants..I either give them too much...

marge58 Oh, well I spend most of my free time with my kids & grandkids...giving & recieving lots of hugs...making funny little crafty hand puppets from paperbags, watching the smiles it brings from the little ones...also do a lot of fishing, camping & horseback...

marge58 Just remember that children pick up on when adults are stressed out & will react by crying or acting out...if you stay calm, the child will stay calm...Try giving the child a hug when you are stressed...love goes a long way...good luck
