Any good digital art tutorial?

I've tried to Google for some good digital art tutorials for newbies but it seems a bit hard to find. I love to draw but my digital art is not doing well at all. In fact, my basic drawing is not nice. I'll train up by sketching more. But I also need to learn how to create those nice patterns, effects and everything about digital art. I'm wondering if anyone has experience in that field and maybe can share with me some of the online tutorials which you came across? I do have a Wacom tablet by the way (the low end Graphire4) and currently using GIMP. Will try Photoshop soon, once I get the hang of it. Thanks in advance!
