Scrapbook sidewalk sale this weekend.......

There was a store not to far from here, hosted a sidewalk/garage sale for scrapbookers. It was great, I got a ton of paper and embellishments and only spent $15! I went with my daughter and her friend, we had a great time together. Has anyone else been to a sale like this in your area? I got paper 10/$1, a grab bag of embellishments for $3, and there was so much stuff in it, and amazingly, I'll use all of it at one time or another! And of course, I had to do some scrapbook layouts this weekend lol Here is one of them I did.

There is a scrapbook store near my house that has sales every couple months and you can sell your own stuff.
They also have trade too. I talked with a lady who liked a few things on my table and we swapped. I ended up spending all I made at the scrapbook sale but at least I got what I wanted for basically free.
I was at JoAnn fabrics yesterday and they had a ton of 8x8 paper on sale for 10 cents and 12x12 for 25 cents. Needless to say I went nuts! It worked out pretty well for me because I just started 3 8x8 books for Christmas presents!

Sounds like you got some great bargains. I've got a lot to catch up on, and cards to make for upcoming birthdays and Mother's Day. And I'll be moving back to Texas within the next two months, getting back to work down there, as well as finding a place to live, and on top of all of that..............planning a wedding! Yep, mine LOL So things are gonna get busy for me, but I'll still need some down time, and time to scrapbook. I always find time for that hehehe

oh yes, a good sale in a craft store, or on ebay ,is a weakness for me in stocking up and finding the bargains. SOunds like you got a great deal and I know you will have tons of fun with it!! I like to make cards with my scrapbook paper too!

I love making cards too. I have several to get made over the next few weeks. Here is one other page I did this weekend. It's a very special one, as the St Florian was sent to me by a very special firefighter.........actually, gonna marry him! hehe

No there has been no store here in Florida where i live that host's a sidewalk sale. we do have a Micheal's and Joanne's fabric store that sell's scrapbook item's. but they are expensive, some time's they do have instore sale's where you can get 12x12, or 8x11 paper five for one dollar. i just love to scrapbook and make my own card's for friend's and family.

Yeah, we have those stores here too. I'm gonna miss the scrapbook stores here when I move back to Texas. I'll have to do some research and see where the scrapbook stores are lol

I try to stay away, but I always seem to end up there lol. We were going to check out a store that was going out of business but someone ended up buying the whole lot!

I wish I was around for a sale like that. It would be so much fun! I have not run across any stores doing sales like that in Phoenix. With my luck, if one did exist, I would find out about it after the fact. Sounds like you had a great time using your new supplies.

It was a lot of fun, and we got some really good bargains. There is actually another sale tomorrow, a scrapbook store is going out of business, so everything is being sold at wholesale prices or below. I'm hoping to make it to that sale also. I love scrapbooking but, it can get expensive lol

Wow! You got a lot of great scrapbooking goodies. The cheapest I can get them is when they are on sale, and usually at Michael's. Sometimes I find cute at the dollar store, but never like the deals you got. Lucky you!!
