What if you have an exam tomorrow then you cant or not able to review today because maybe you have forgotten it, or maybe its a surprise exam or quiz. And what if that exam will be the only way to pass the subject cause your professor was not very active in terms of attending his/her class. There are lot of this situations in the different school and universities here in country that every student become the victim of a less potential prof.
Do you think its better to cheat than to repeat?

I never really wanted to cheat. If you have a quiz or exam then you should be responsible enough to know it and prepare for it. Saying you forgot it wouldn't be a valid excuse. If you care about what's happening to your grades then why let that last oppotunity of yours just pass away. You should have done something about it before it gets worse but cheating would be an unfair solution for it. If you know for yourself that you didn't do your resposibilities then you might as well consider the consequences of what your actions had been.

Good day, ulqu1orra. We all know that cheating is not good. Cheating is the last resort of those who do not have the perseverance to study hard and to play fair. And also, they can save more effort rather than studying hard. They cheat because they don't want to repeat and spend more money for tuition. On the other side, they consider cheating as an art. Like dancing or singing, cheating has different styles in order to reach the goal- to pass the examination. But the best way is to work hard to reach the goal because not all things can be obtained easily. This was my response to this topic, happy mylotting..=)

Thanks a lot dude. I agree with that if we work hard and passionately to attain our goals, we can reach it no matter what it takes.

70% agree and 30% disagree. 70% is because you can have answers without studying or memorizing it. no need for a hard study to get higher score. 30% because afraid to caught by a teacher and less of knowledge about the subject. but its really true that cheating is better than to repeat. we all know that this is not good but we have no choice.
good luck for the earning carrer and happy myLotting!

Thanks a lot for your response. Almost 70 percent of our class are relying with each others help including me not only on assignments, projects or discussions, but also on passing the exam. And the best resort for us is to cheat, we provide each other all of the answer we know or we bring such thing as "kodigo" or any referrals just for us to answer exams that are commonly written in the paper.

hmm.. for me, nothing is better than the other.. personally, i want to pass my subjects by exerting efforts.. i mean i want to learn something so i can apply it on my job in the future.,
When someone passes a subject just by cheating, surely he did not learn anything from that subject.. and when he did not learn any, he wouldn't know how to apply the concepts included in that subject matter.. It will be his loss.. so for me, it is better to learn something than to cheat your way to passing..
in the case you have stated, students will just have to help themselves by self studying or by asking a friend or a classmate to tutor them on that subject..

yeah I agree with you if all of the student that will have test tomorrow will never have a time to review for their upcoming or maybe a surprised exam..
but for people who are very dedicated to their studies. exams are noting for them but just a challenge .

I think it is better to repeat than to cheat. It's not a good idea to cheat through exams, as you will never learn the material that way. Sure, it might seem like an easy way out, but in the end the one that cheats will suffer the consequences. Let me ask you a question. If a doctor cheated his/her way through med school would you want this same doctor to operate on you or a loved one? I know I wouldn't. That's a pretty scary thought, don't you think?

I think it is better to be prepared than to cheat. I hate cheating and I am proud to say that I only cheated few times during my being a student days. I would rather review in advance even when the subject is not my favorite and even when I hate the professor because of his or her attendance problems.

Yes, you are right. Giving repeat exam is shame so not believe on this. If you think that cheating satisfied or can complete your work then you can cheat.

When you did not cheat and fail, you will only have to re-take the particular subject (if you are in college) or the whole school year (if you are in high school).
But when you cheat and got caught, have you thought of the consequences? Some schools consider cheating as a major offense and it could mean expulsion to the student. And what about the stigma of being tagged as cheater? The sad thing is, you are not even 100% sure that when you cheat, you will pass the examination.

Hello ulqu1orra, before my response in your interesting discussion, i just want to greet you a very pleasant morning. Well, i really like your discussion because that particular question "it's better than to chea thb to repeat " is always running in our head during the school days. Here in our school, honestly speaking there are a great number of students who always cheat in every exam that they always take and they have their own technique to avoid caught by the teachers. Most of the students that are cheatting are those who are not attending the class and just want to stay out in school rather than to go to school and study, i can say that they really don't give good time for studying and they have a low discipline in their life that's why they are doing that and last is they did not know that we must study for our feature. This thoughts is one sad thing here in our country, that's why we are not rising. As i remember the saying of our nation hero Dr.Jose Rizal "Ang kabataan ang pag asa ng bayan"(The youth is the hope of our country). Which is true because after several years from now they will be the key to success if they will study hard, but as we can see there is a great number of student who are not studying well. I can say that 50 percent of those student are one of my classmates. Then by the way honestly speaking regarding with the situation that you have written, I think i will just go together with my classmatd to cheat than to repeat because I only use my practicality in being a smart intelligent, but not most of the time i will cheat. By the reason why i will do that thing is because i marked in my mind that here in college, "i will be graduate in time,no matter wha hppen". Well, i guess my response is long enough. That's all, thank you! Happy posting and happy earning to everyone of us? Good luck, i hope i give a good response! God bless!

i don't like cheat at exam, but in that case,if i have the chance to cheat and couldn't be caught,i think i will do it,otherwise i'd rather fail than cheat.
then passing the exam, you must study hard, and make it look like ture that you passed the exam by your own knowledge.of cause, improving abilities is the final purpose.
