I think sometimes cry can remove our sadness. Do you agree?

I am an extremely emotional person. Almost to the point that it really annoys me, because I can't control it. I cry at the drop of a hat. I actually just cried a few minutes ago, because I read a post about someone who just lost their dog to cancer.
I am cursed with very strong empathy; I immediately put myself in the person's shoes who is feeling grief and I feel it too, on the same level. It is weird, but I grieve like it has happened to me.
Crying doesn't remove my sadness. It just reminds me that it is there.

Yes I agree that crying can release the tension and the sadness you feel inside. So when I am really down or upset I tend to cry but not too much. I only cry until I feel better and that usually takes an hour or less. Crying will make me feel better so I do not hesitate doing it when needed. Anyway I have no one to talk too except my husband who is most of the time at work and tired when at home. I just feel sad sometimes with some minor problems and so I cry to feel better and I talk to Him.

I am somewhat of an emotional person. I cry mainly when I am upset, especially when I am upset at or with or because of someone who is real close to me. Most of the time when I cry, yes it does remove our sadness. Sometimes, you may have to cry several times to remove that sadness.
