List of good animes for the year 2009

Hi anime fans,
What anime are you currently watching and which anime do you think will be the best in 2009? I know there are few animes yet to be released, but over the last few months, we've actually seen quite a lot of new animes.
Currently, I'm watching quite a number of them namely Valkyria Chronicles, 07 Ghost, Full Metal Alchemist 2 and Eden of the East. I personally feel Eden of the East could be the surprise hit this year. The production quality is also very good. Valkyria, I love the game so I'll just follow this anime and see how much it differs from the story in the game. As for 07 Ghost, the animation part can be a bit poor but the story seems to be very interesting. FMA, needless to say, is awesome. Too bad it's actually the same story, and more like a remake based on the comic.
I'm also watching old animes like Birdy the mighty and Gurren. Both are pretty nice.
What about you? Which anime are you watching and which do you think can be the best in 2009 (as of now)?

I've also heard that Eden of the East is an awesome anime but I haven't had time to watch it yet. I've already heard people saying that it's going to be the best anime of the year. That aside, so far I've been paying attention to Chromed Shell Regios, Guin Saga, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Pandora Hearts, and a few others. I'm trying not to judge because some of these series are fairly new and only a few episodes in. It's still kind of hard to judge from the first one or two episodes.

Is Chromed Shell Regios good? I've stopped watching after the main character beat the first monster.

Chromed Shell isn't too bad actually. That first monster battle was some kind of flashback or something. The main character gets this fresh new start by attending some kind of fighting school. So far, I've seen 15 episodes of that show and I still don't really know what's going on.

I stopped Regios quite early because the story seems to be a little boring to me.

i watching valkyria chronicles, Tayutama kiss on my deity,tears of tiara and last Pandora heart got quite anime i catching to watch now ^_^

dunno about tears to tiara because i just watched 1 episode but pandora hearts i think is quite nice i watch 3 ot 4 episode le ba

I think, so far, the best show of the year is Eden of the East. Being an original production and its insane mix of mystery, thriller and shoujo romance is the perfect combination. I highly recommend everyone to watch it.
On what I'm seeing:
K-ON! because I need my moe/KyoAni dose.
Tayutama ~Kiss on my Deity~ because I also need my eroge adaptation dose
Sengoku Basara for my dose of MANLY.
Valkyria Chronicles is great for those who are interested in the game, or if you want to much cuter Alicia.
Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ is a great VN adaptation from the notorious Bee Train. I say you check this out if you like action.
Asura Cryin' is a good pick too.
Shangri-La as of now looks lke a mess but I'm hoping it to be better.

Eden of the east is good. It has very high production value actually.
I'm also watching K-On and that anime has actually influenced me in a way that...I'm thinking of buying Rock Band 2 for my PS3 !!
Valkyria is quite disappointing actually. Not as "different" as I was hoping for.
Phantom, yet to start watching but I heard it's pretty good.
