where do you like to sit in a movie theater?

I tend to sit in the lower levels of the movie theater, as I prefer to avoid the audience from either distracting me from the movie and being able to concentrate better.

In my favorite cinema there are two sections , up front and more of a balcony . In betwen there are few seats that are perfect, they are in front of the balcony part and yet it isn't part of the front seats , That's where I love to sit. I usuallt ssit cea little right of center.

i don't mind sitting anywhere, preferably at the back or in the middle but not too close to the screen. i prefer to sit at the aisle though

I like to sit near the centre of the theatre, but also near the middle to the back. I also most prefer aisle seats. I think that's because of my height (I'm 5'10"), and I like to be able to stick my legs out if they get too stiff during a long movie (the seats don't usually accomodate my being able to cross my legs).

If I know that the film wont be packed then I try and sit in the middle so that I get the optimum experience both visually and audiolly. But if I feel that the cinema will be busy I tend to sit to one side slightly so that I am away from everyone else. It may sound daft but there is nothing annoys me more in a cinema than people nearby who keep talking, making noises, digging there knees into the back of my seat or getting up to go and use the toilet. So thats why I try and sit somewhere which would minimise disturbances.

In a movie theater I like sit in front of the screen in the middle because Like this you can see all the screen, it's for me the best place for my ears and for see. I don't want to go behind because we are so far of the screen.

When I go to the movie theater, I usually like to sit right in the middle of the theater.

I also do not like to sit very close to the screen because that is not good for the eyes... and can give one a headache after watching the movie... i prefer to be as far away from the screen as i can... and at the center... that way i won't be bothered by those who are walking or just entering the movie theater...

The top row. It's the best place to be. And in a corner if I can manage it. Cos most people don't prefer corners and it's the best place to avoid crowds. It's cosy to sit back and watch a movie in complete rest. bourne

I love to sit in the middle of the cinema at the lower area. I don't like to sit in the upper area in the premiere because I cannot concentrate there.LOL! But I try to avoid the nearest area on the big screen because I have a problem with my eyes, I feel like vomiting when I am near the screen.

I also like to sit in the middle of the movie theatre and towards the back row. I don't like sitting up close because it is hard to see and could hurt your eyes. Also, if you sit in the left side or the right side, you might not be able to see the whole picture.

About three or four rows back, right down in the middle, right in front of the screen. Just lean back in the seat, get as comfortable as I can get in a seat like that. And enjoy the movie.

I like to sit about half way back right in the center of the theater. I don't want to get too close to where I have to tip my head back so far that my neck hurts when I walk out of there but I also don't want to be back so far that I have trouble seeing or hearing. I hate though when I get behind a tall person and have trouble seeing plus I also like to be able to stick my feet up because I am lazy and inconsiderate and want to be comfortable while I am watching the movie.

I like to sit all the way back in the last row. Not very many people sit there and I can enjoy the movie without having to be interrupted by people who are always whispering and making noise with their mouth while they munch on their snacks. I also see the screen much better from the back.

I like to sit somewhere in the middle level and the center of the screen. My boyfriend likes to sit in the higher levels or the middle levels, which is where I prefer, and the center of the screen so we don't have to turn our heads to the side to get the best view of the movie.
