If you could have your own talk show, who would be the first guests that you would invite and why? What would your topics be about?

This is an interesting thought and question, as I have watched many Talk Shows over the yrs. and have wished it could be me meeting and talking with the people they have on their show for sure. Some of the people I would Love to talk with are some of the Christian Singing groups who have made it big, and made an inspiration for others like "Casting Crowns" It would be also Fun to talk with people who have made it big from a Company that started out from scratch and to get some tips and thoughts on how others can do so as well.

It would be hard to decide WHAT questions to ask. There are more questions then time for answers. Appreciate the response.

Since this will probably be nothing more tham make believe for me, I will go outside of the box and say, Jesus Christ. And I will tell you, I have such a long list of things to ask, I could not possibly list them all here. I am sure that this show would have to go on for at least a week. That way I can ask all the questions that I choose and so can everyone else in the free world.

I think it would be incredible to have that opportunity. It is a good idea. I am sure that most of us , have alot of questions and one day, they will be answered. We have many of the answers now but there is so much more to come. Blessings and best wish's.

I would have a panel of women that have been sexually abused or raped...I would invite them so they can open up and tell their stories.....because I don't think we have come very far from the dark ages...too many women still hide what has happened and it's time we open up and expose what still goes on....then I have their abusers in the background for the second part of the show....and the police standing on the side of the stage!

I agree. This needs to continue in education and stories to make the public more aware and to help prevent future cases as well as get help for all those in need. You have an excellent idea and I wonder why noone has done it.

Hi eaforeman! My talk show would be about anything and everything that could improve one's life. For my first guest I would invite Ingrid Poulson. Her husband Phithak Kongsom (a.ka. Neung) killed her father and her two children by stabbing them and eventually ended his own life after attempting to kill his wife. Ingrid lost her father Peter and her two children, four year old Marilyn (‘Lee’) and 23 month old Sebastian (‘Bas’)on the 15th September 2003 in a suburb west of Sydney, Australia. Ingrid has overcome the unimaginable. She now runs her company called 'Steadfast Training.' The business provides assistance to people dealing with high stress jobs and has now authored a life changing book aptly titled ‘Rise’. She says that it is her story told in a way as to provide self help for people dealing with overwhelming circumstances and grief. She's an amazing woman who has been an inspiration to so many and she would be an invaluable guest. I would also invite Ellen DeGeneres because I absolutely love her! She's hilarious and smart! I would also like the Dalai Lama to drop in along with Brad Pitt (the latter just a treat for the ladies!).

I agree that it should help people. It should be productive and benefit people. There is enough television that just entertains and offers no true help to the masses. You have some great ideas here.Appreciate the response.

If I had my own talk show, it would probably be strikingly similar to the Tyra Show (it's my fave..Seriously! I love it!) and we would cover a mix of "self-improvement/self-confidence/body image" issues, real issues with teens & women, political and social issues, and the occasional celebrity. I would have a mix of politicans, real people, and celebs on the show. I certainly WOULD NOT make the talk show just all about "DNA testing" and all of that BS. I like talk shows with actual substance, and ones that you can actually learn something from.

I agree, we should learn or they are wasting our time. There are enough shows that you do not learn good from. Appreciate the response and great points. Have a wondeful time mylotting.
