Who are they kidding, I don't even understand the words, I deleted it right away. I went to it just to see what it was, it was written in French, I hope you guys aren't getting any phoney Paypal messages, because that is what it was getting. Don't be a fool! Have you got these lately in your email? Don't even look at it, just delete it. Don't ever give them information. go to your Search Engine, make sure you see the Logo. Just letting the new user know this I know the old users know this I hope! Have a nice weekend!

Yes, I got one in a language that doesn't even use the same alphabet characters as the western languages! In my secondary e mail no less. I'm always getting them. I have 4 e mail addresses and I get these in the three e mails that aren't the primary one on my Paypal. I guess the reason is that the one I use for paypal is my personal one and I don't put it out there very much, just my family and friends.

Oh, yes! and be sure to forward those e mails to spoof@paypal.com . They'll work hard at closing that e mail account or domain.

Are you sure these emails really sent by Paypal? I guess probably they are just scams. They tried to make an email address like Paypal but they are not Paypal at all. I have received this kind of emails in English before. I know it is the cheating email. I love China

Yes, I get those all the time too. Sheesh, pretty stupid that they think somebody would actually 'bite' when it's in a foreign language lol. I never even open them, whether they're in English or not, then I log into my PPal acct if I need to make sure all is OK. I don't go there through a search engine, I always close all of my windows and bring up a fresh page to get there from. I keep their main log-in page bookmarked so I'll always be 100% sure I haven't gotten to some bogus look-alike site. I think scammers hope that newbies won't be so careful. Have a wonderful day...it's 82 degrees here this morning! Yippie!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received the same e-mail some time ago, and did exactly the same thing. It must either be a scam e-mail users or a random e-mail from the company.

When you get phoney emails from paypal, you can send them to paypal. They do investigate who they come from, if they find out who sent them they will prosecute them. This is a good warning for newbies, some people don't know not to sign into paypal from their email. These kinds of things are how people get scammed and have their identity stolen.

I think I remember getting one of these as well. Ive had them from my bank and Ebay to. I just delete them though. I know these companies wouldnt emil to ask for imformation and putting it in a language I do not understand just shows how stupid they are really. At least take the time to find out which country I am from before you try to steal my money lol.

Hi there Marcia Scott. I have received one scam email from a so called "paypal reprezentative" a while back to, but mine was in english. I also get a lot of scam emails from 2 banks that i used to work or that i do work with, but i never had an online account to them so... it's quite annoying.

Of all the Phony and fake email letters I have read here and there in the internet, this is the silliest of all. Maybe that person should have also put his/her signature on it. People now a days are so desperate to get money and used some one else s email.it's better to have your email in a spam filter .

That's actually funny you mentioned this. I have gotten about five emails from "paypal" in the last month and a couple from "ebay". They are all in English but I check my paypal account regularly so I don't even open paypal emails. As for ebay we haven't been on there so long are account is probably closed. One big thing - If you do open paypal emails NEVER go to the paypal website through the email link. If you do watch the html and you will see it's not paypal. Don't try to log in if you do go to the website this way. It's not paypal's website and you will be giving whoever your paypal information to get into your account.

Your telling me. I have been selling cell phones online for about 3 years and never had a problem with people messing with PayPal until now. I just got two different people trying to tell me the same exact story as the other. lol. They tried to get me to send my product to Nigeria! They send a fake email saying that I had recieved payment but I knew better. People now days will do anything to make a dollar and its getting stupid.

If you want to know which emails are real or fake go to this link: www.iconix.com There are many business such as Pay Pal and eBay that are signed up for this service. It works with many email programs and it works great! Best of all it is free, safe, and trustworthy! You will not have to worry anymore about fake messages pretending to be Pay Pal.

I think this has been happening to everyone. I have gotten an actual email stating that I have a 130$ payment needing approval. The thing people need to know is that when you get a strange email from paypal go to paypal.com to get to your paypal. If there is a dispute you will see it instantly. I hate to say things like this but people that scam arent dumb its the ones that fall for it that are dumb.
