Mozilla firefox errors? This is happen to me since a week ago

I use mozilla firefox version 3.0.9
I prefer using mozilla than Internet Explorer.
But this week my mozilla often get crashed. It is suddenly get closed and I have to open it again. When the browser closed, there are a link to mozilla support, where I can post my complaining to them. But it kept happen to me.
Can somebody help me to fix it?

I am not sure what happen, but Firefox tend to use up all my computer resources. Both RAM and Processor cycle. Sometime it just hang for a while. Sometime it just becoming no respond. But I found out Firefox 3 is consume more RAM than Firefox 2 but Firefox 2 tend to hang more. And yes, I run both version at the same time. I have a 2GB RAM on my laptop and I have experience Firefox 3 using about 1.7-1.8GB of RAM before.

I also have 2GB on my laptop. Usually I run 2 browser, mozilla and IE..
When I use FF 2, it never crashed.. but after I upgrade to FF 3 it started to happen.
I really hate when it happen, esp. when I'm writing on mylot.

I have the newest update. I have try re-installing firefox too. But it still happening.. :(
