Hi 'mylotters'
For the past few months, I was too busy with my work, too busy with worldly things, I always neglected praying to God. I even completely stopped bothering to go to church. But, inside my heart I always had a very bitter feeling, sorrows, emptiness, depression. I came to fully realize that without God in our lives, nothing can really give the full happiness. No matter how much money we have, without God there is always an emptiness in our hearts. Now, I started praying again, started giving some time for God, started attending church again, and I am much happier than ever before. I have got back a new life. What about you? What can you comment about life without God?

Hello teteimathews. When I was in elementary, I didnt know God that much. I did pray to him and attended sunday masses, but I felt that I wasnt close to him. I always had times when I felt that I was depressed. I cried a lot. When I was in high school, my mom gave me prayer books and teached me how to pray. As time goes by, I started becoming closer to God. I prayed a lot not only when I have problems but, everyday. Night and day, I see to it that I always have time for him.

At least you are still better than me. I too used to go to church regularly when I was younger, because my parents forced me to go that is why I had to go. But now, ever since I have become independant, I had gone far away from God. Worldly things have shadowed me too much. But now, I leave my worldly work aside and give some time for God. Thanks for your response.

You're right, we'll never be happy without God.
I'm Christian. I can't imagine my life without God. I believe that He can always help me and all he does is for my good. I'm sure that if God doesn't answer my prayers it means that I should change.
I'm happy you've stoped to neglecing God and started be happy. Really, I do, I know, maybe it sounds stupid, but world needs more people who're just like you :)

I used to pray only when I needed Him...that means when I was sick and many other problems in life. But, now I am doing quite well in every way and that makes me forget about Him, and I feel too guilty.

Hi there! Yes, I always have time for God no matter how busy I may be in a day. I pray to Him even in the slightest of time for I know, as long as we are sincere in our communication with Him, He truly listens. It's also my way of getting guidance in all my daily activities.

I'm on the same boat just like you. For me, life is really incomplete without God. As if i never also exist as my life tends to be more hectic for the daily schedule i have to keep everyday. It is really not complete just what you feel too since we really needed God in everything we do.
I don't lose hope, i still give the whole Sunday a day of rest and give time even just 20 minutes to read the Bible and even if i struggle to pray, i am sure that God would not let me be astray. I am also having a difficult time to pray, it must have been a very terrible thing as a Christian to do. But i know that i really need to pray even much more because of trials i have in my life.
I don't forsake the fellowship of the saints. But church here is far from home, but i see to it that i won't lose my focus with my Savior. I don't depend my faith in a church, because we as an individual is considered a church. What is much favorable for me is to spend time and share God's word with our loved ones first before we go and preach it outside our home. Life as a christian is never that easy because we do face difficulties. But this will help us to be more strong in our faith and depend more on God.

me and my kids went to church every sunday, we just sometimes light up the candles and pray. we cannot attend the sunday mass , its because my kids are very impatient to attend. i cannot concentrate as well, so i just plan on going to mass alone, but i forgot to do it. so i can say that i really dont have enough time for God, but i do pray and give thanks for him everyday.

I always make time for god. God is my creator, he wakes me up in the more, he gives me life and he guides me each and everyday. Life without God is no life at all. I am at this point in time trying my best to place God at the center of my life. This time is trying time where many times it seems as if nothing is work but, with God always by your side and faith in your heart there can be no life without him.

I do not attend any church as far as the different religions go. To me most of them are a business to create an income. I have had some bad experiences with them and thats how I view that.
As far as not having a church, if you read even in the Bible you will see that it says, we within our own spirit, heart and soul, we are a church. I feel I am blessed each and everyday when I awake. It is another day to enjoy what God has Blessed us with. My life has been more of the giving to those that were in need of help. I have had people live in my home, paid bills for some, just sit and listen so they can vent. If I see a child trying to sell things so they can work with different organizations I donate or buy one of the products, just because.
Right now I am helping two young ladies get organized to get their life moiving forward. I am not in a very good position myself either, still I will help, even the church two houses away from us. I am not a member, still I will volunteer and help them with the food pantry, unload vehicles that bring donations, help those that come to the food pantry that can't carry the food to their vehicle..
I myself talk to God as if he were standing right here with me, all the time.. He is my listening post, my grounding force that keeps me going even though at times I do not feel I have the strength to move on. In those days, I find that someone or something happens where it makes me get up and help or just talk to someone else. I may not have much at all as far as monetary, thing is I am blessed because I am still capable of being there to help others, pray to help others, and able to listen. As well as being there so someone else can help another. Yes, I had a hard time learning that as well. I still have a hard time accepting help, I do, but it is hard to do, don't know how to explain it. I would rather give of my time, my knowledge, and my strength. Its just the way I am.
God bless you, one and all.. May your day be blessed with a moment to know he stands with you everyday.

I am going through the same situation. Last three years i Had gone through bad time in my life and I was totally forgot about the god. But when I started to pray to the god a slight light had came into my life and I am getting good clients and work and money also. Without the god we are nothing. I put everything in front of the god.

God is my source of strenght. Its been our guide with my Mom in our daily lives. From him, we get our motivation to pursue the hardships of life. And sometimes, He will test our faith on him by our problems and difficulties we encounter in life. Many of us will remember God if we have problems or something to ask for. Thats reality because He is always there for us whatever happens.
