I've had it with Spelling Mistakes!

You should open myLot in a Firefox window - it will usually underline all of the words you misspell in red, and that can definitely be helpful. It doesn't help you with GRAMMATICAL issues (as far as punctuation, sentence structure, etc) - but it works with spelling.

I know what you mean I wish the site had an auto spell check option. I take online classes where we post to forums all the time, and they have a feature where you can have it auto check your spelling when you hit post. It I will run spell check and give you an opportunity to fix or ignore anything that is not in the spell checker's dictionary. I really think that we need something like that here on myLot. I think it would make the whole community, which is so rich in text language much more professional because it would eliminate 99% of spelling errors. Hopefully, Alice has got us a Spell Check option / button on the myLot community wish list. As this discussion points out, members would love for this option to be added.

If you use the Firefox browser your spelling is automatically checked. Try it and I'm sure you'll find it far better than trying to find the mistakes on your own. Firefox is superior in many ways, just try it and you'll see that.

I have no idea if using a different browser there is one or not. I use IE and there is not so I have to deal with any that there might be and there sometimes are several. I think using one would make us just too lazy though and we really should try and manage without. Just my 2 cents.

I agree. Mylot definitly needs a spell check tool. I hate wehn I post somting and their are a lot of errors in it. It is embarasseng. Somtime it maks me not want to post anyting at all!

Well there is no automatic spell check if you are asking. actually we have to do it properly before posting, but it is fine yaa sometimes there are some spelling mistakes made and they are accepted. so dont be that worried. it happens. happy mylotting.
