As this is my third in a series about this swine flu, my concern is growing. I asked before how people felt about this epidemic. Do you think this will turn out to kill people in epic porportions? Is this going to change the face of the planet forever? Is this a sign from God? What do you think? It is starting to bother me more and more, especially since there has been a confirmed case about 50 miles from my home. I am starting to wonder if it is even safe to send my son to school. I hope this doen't get crazy. How do you feel?

I read about swine flu few days back and trust me it is getting deadly day by day.....i really got scared reading the symptoms.....doctors say you will get fewer, muscle pain, diarrhea, vomiting, when these things happen rush to the doctor immediately....
The doctors also mentioned that one should keep washing your hands constantly.....
I feel that yes it can be a sign from god....the bible say that during the end days there will be unknown disease which will have no cure and that is exactly what swine flu is.....doctors are still not able to find anything about it........
well i feel you should constantly keep a check as to what the heath department is saying....check for warnings and only then send your child to school.....the news channels like CNN are constantly giving updates on swine flu.....don't worry so much that it should affect your life....offcourse it is deadly.....pray to god and things will be fine......

All I can say is that I hope this will not get worse. I sometimes wonder if God is sending us many signs. My life really is not that great, but I still appreciate it and I don't want to die. I have two daughters and I don't want them to suffer. I pray everyday that things get better in the world. I'm just scared. God help us all.

I think most people want to continue living, but Gods plan dictates that we all must die. For believers, this is a glorious time. For sinners, not so glorious.

I have to agree that it does sound bad. It also seems to go along with what the Bible says will happen in the last days. Electing Obama is the start of the end. It's all in the Bible. It want be long until war has broken out everywhere and the U.S. will go down. It's all in the Bible. I would start homeschooling if I still had young kids at home. We are in for some very tough times in the next years to come. I expect things to get worse each year--more war, more natural disasters, and more epidemics.

I do believe conditions are declining, however I don't know what to think about the whole Obama is proof of the end times. Could you elaborate, and explain what leads you to come to that conclusion.

The main thing that concerns me is that the US is headed toward socialism. The big bailout is proof of that. I really believe that conditions are going to get much worse in all of the areas I mentioned earlier. But a socialistic nation is not the way this country was founded and it is slowly becoming one.

I agree we should stick with our core American values, yet I do have to say that I actually like some of Obama's "socialist veiws". I think some things that can be considered "socialist like" that Obama is suggesting are actually good ideas. I believe our country needs to learn to adapt to current ever changing conditions. If that means thinking or stepping outside the box, I guess I am all for it. If what Bush was doing was not working, and I certainly see that it is not, then perhaps we should try to do something different. Kudos to Obama for making a change.

Honestly, I think 99% of the population has to go bye bye, sorry, but this world sucks BIG TIME, we need a change. There's too many broke people suffering out there. We take out the population, we take out the power and therefore the necessity for money.

I don't think this will change the face of the planet forever. You've got to keep in mind just a century ago the flu that none of us really worry about anymore killed millions of people. I really hope the swine flu doesn't get that bad but keep in mind governments of the world are better prepared than they were back then.
Of course I am concerned about it myself. I don't think anyone can blame anyone else for that. This isn't a party we're talking about, after all. As I've been saying, hopefully the situation will get under control before a lot more people die.

That is true, but there is not even any vaccines for this. It will take four to five months to develop one. If 150-200 people have caught it in less than a week, how many more in a matter of 20 weeks? Tens of thousands? Hundreds of thousands? Millions? Who knows? Protect your own.

This is really terrible. A lot of things are happening in the world and diseases tend to accelerate also as the knowledge for fighting diseases are also taking place. It is much safer if we refrain from eating pork, besides it was never healthy to eat pork. In our family we don't eat it. We can always substitute chicken, goat and beef in our diet but no pork please.
Even if they say that the issue has nothing to do with eating pork but being exposed to an animal that was infected by this virus, it is still not wise for me to take the chance for people to still continue to eat pork.
Pardon those pork eaters like bacon, ham and lechon. Anyway it is still your decision if you wanted to eat the meat, nothing is going to stop you from eating what you like anyway. Just be careful only.

Why do you think it is not healthy to eat pork? I don't think it is any worse that cow, goat,or whatever meat one chooses. Even chicken. If one wants to stay away from all harmful foods, maybe the best thing to do is have your own garden and only eat the items that come from it. Fruit and vegetables that are produced on a large scale contain growth hormones and insectacides. Are those any better?
