Have you tried Lyrica?

Does it really help with fibro? I can't take Lyrica because they put corn starch in the pills, but I see that Gabapentin comes in a liquid form that (unlike the pills) is corn starch free. I'm wondering because I didn't see anything in the reports about it being prescribed for fibro... Could you please tell this hurting person more?

I tried Lyrica but did not take it lng enough to know if it helps or not. I do not like to get the fuzzies either, which is why I refuse some of the meds like vicodin, ultram, and elavil. I have never tried gabapentin but I would be open to it if it does not make me feel crazy.

try savella.. its new (well within a year old) and you dont see it being advertized like lyrica but it WORKS! i was on both of those and everything else on earth for fibro and this is the only thing that has helped me.. even if it barely lessens the pain it gives me enough energy to get normal stuff done where i didnt even have that before!! its worth a shot! no side affects that i have had and i usually have them but i dont think they will ever give it to men.. it pretty much can screw up all their manhood

Lyrica is my MIRACLE PILL!!! I have tried everything else and Lyrica was the last option and Thank God it worked, and I never leave home with out it..lol. How long did you take Lyrica while have the fuzzies before you stopped??

I was on this medication for over a year because my rheumatologist said that it is THE Fibromyalgia pill and it should help. Well, IT DIDN'T! All I got out of it was double vision every morning for about ten minutes. My symptoms did not improve or change in the least.
